Located in the vibrant and popular coastal town of Wells-next-the-Sea, Lantern Cottage is a welcoming detached property, curated from traditional brick and flint, boasting all the practicalities needed for a comfortable group holiday. There is an enclosed garden, well-equipped kitchen, off-road parking, and comfortable bedrooms, plus the town's amenities, eateries, and the sandy beach are all reachable by foot.
The modern yet homely heart of the house, the dual aspect kitchen/ diner is bright and spacious, featuring a long table for gathering together to share meals. Inviting sofas appointed around the electric Dimplex stove make the sitting room a cosy haven on chillier evenings. Leading into the conservatory, this spot is the perfect place to enjoy a quiet moment with a morning coffee or good book. Bedroom three is conveniently located on the ground floor bedroom, offering privacy and easier access for those guests who might require it. Upstairs three further bedrooms are presented; a king-size with en-suite, a double, and bunk beds. A family bathroom ensures there is room for everyone after a hard day exploring, walking, or sandcastle building on the beach.
Outside, the fully enclosed garden is mainly laid to lawn, making it a safe place for supervised children and dogs to play. Fire up the barbecue on the south-facing patio area and let your cares melt away as you relax in the sun. And, after the sun goes down, switch on the outside lights and chat long into the evening. Parking for three cars is available on the shared driveway - a real bonus in Wells in high season. If you like to explore on two wheels, then your own bikes can be securely stored in the garage.
