Follow a section of the South West Coast Path, perhaps attempting the picturesque 6.5-mile stretch from Porthpean to Mevagissy. Plan a day trip to the famous Eden Project, 6.5 miles away, the Pinetum Gardens, 5 miles away, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan, 4.5 miles from the shepherd’s hut. The dining area can be cleverly folded away at night-time, so your comfortable double bed can be pulled down from above. Beneath it, there is even a den for dogs to curl up at night. The shepherd’s hut benefits from a private shower room, where you can rinse off after days on the beach. Guests have access to a shared, on-site laundry room.
