About this apartment rental
The River Loft is one of the most unique spaces at historic Nesselrod on the New River.
Originally part of the estate’s carriage house, the space was transformed into a private loft while preserving the character and personality of the property. Previous owners of Nesselrod had a love of Asian art and design, and incorporated pieces and decorative influences from their collection throughout the loft, giving it an eclectic character you won`t find in a typical hotel room.
The loft features a queen bed upstairs with a TV, an oversized sunken tub, and a cozy living area downstairs with a sleeper sofa, coffee station, mini refrigerator, microwave and toaster oven.
Step outside and you`re on the grounds of Nesselrod, a historic estate overlooking the New River. Guests can enjoy the peaceful setting and riverfront property while still being conveniently located near Radford University, Virginia Tech and the outdoor recreation of the New River Valley.
This is a historic, character-filled space rather than a modern hotel suite — and that`s part of what makes The River Loft special.
The River Loft is a private space exclusively for you during your stay. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the beautiful grounds and riverfront areas of the Nesselrod estate.
Please note that the main house may be rented separately, and its veranda is reserved for guests staying in the main house. Nesselrod is also an active wedding and event venue, so there may occasionally be an event taking place elsewhere on the property during your stay.
If you`re interested in hosting a wedding, gathering, photo shoot, or other event at Nesselrod, we`d love to hear from you! Please contact us in advance for availability and event pricing.
We respect our guests’ privacy and allow you to enjoy the River Loft and Nesselrod grounds at your leisure. If you need anything during your stay, simply message us through the Airbnb app. Our local property manager is also available to assist with any issues that may arise.
