With room for five guests in three bedrooms, this spacious cottage offers a comfortable, sociable space for an escape to the South Devon coast. The charming village of Hope Cove is renowned for its two stunning, sandy beaches, one of which offers a choice of water sports. From the village you can embark on coast-path walks with incredible views, discovering further beaches, including Thurlestone, (2 miles), Bantham (3.5 miles) and Bigbury (10.5 miles). Garden lovers will adore the National Trust’s Overbeck’s Garden (4.5 miles), while the resort town of Salcombe is only 5 miles away, where you’ll find boutique shops, art galleries and fabulous restaurants and bars. For another great day out, head to Burgh Island (14.5 miles) where you can either walk across the causeway or catch the iconic sea tractor for a drink at the pub, or even book a special meal at the island’s Art Deco hotel.

The cottage is in an elevated position enjoying fabulous views, and there is a series of steps up to the front door. Once inside, you’ll find a warm and welcoming, open-plan living space, ideal for relaxing and making memories together. The kitchen includes a fridge/freezer and a microwave, as well as a useful washing machine and a breakfast bar with four stools. There’s also a fold-out dining table, ideal for quick snacks or delicious suppers. When you feel like unwinding at home for the evening, spread out on the comfortable seating and stream your favourite shows on the Smart TV. A dedicated study space offers the option to catch up with some admin while you’re away, or even work remotely. There are two coastal-themed bedrooms on ground-floor level: a double and a single, sharing a shower room. Take the cottage-style stairs to the first floor and you’ll find the third bedroom, a cheerful twin (with some areas of low, sloping ceiling), which has use of a second shower room.

Step out onto your private balcony and enjoy the fresh breeze and the sounds of the sea as you sip a morning coffee or a sundowner, accompanied by a panoramic view. Additionally, a shared, lawned garden with sea views offers another peaceful setting for making the most of the sea air
