Ulf's Huus – Family-Friendly Vacation in Hooksiel
Welcome to Ulf's Huus, a cozy and family-friendly semi-detached house in a quiet yet central location in Hooksiel. With approximately 85 m² of living space, the vacation home can accommodate up to 6 people and is particularly well-suited for families and group vacations on the North Sea.
The house features three bedrooms—two with double beds and one with two single beds—as well as two bathrooms. In the cozy living area, a fireplace and TV ensure relaxing evenings. The open-concept, fully equipped kitchen with an adjoining dining area offers everything you need for self-catering.
Families, in particular, will enjoy a wide selection of games, books, and toys. There’s even a ceiling swing in the children’s room. Wi-Fi, a washing machine, and TVs in the bedrooms round out the extensive amenities.
Ulf’s Huus also offers plenty of space outdoors: The approximately 350 m² property includes a sunny southwest-facing terrace, an additional breakfast terrace, patio furniture, and a grill. Two free parking spaces are located right next to the house. Dogs are also welcome.
The location is ideal for a North Sea vacation: the dike, Hooksiel’s town center, and recreational activities are all within easy reach, and Hooksiel Beach is just a few minutes’ drive away. Hooksiel’s charming town center invites you to stroll through its picturesque pedestrian zone, shops, and restaurants, while a large EDEKA supermarket with a bakery at the town entrance offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The beach, located about 3 km away, is equipped with parking spaces and beach chairs, and water skiing at the Hooksiel ski terraces provides plenty of action, while beautiful hiking and biking trails lead from the old harbor to the outer harbor and the beach.

The climatic health resort of Hooksiel (Zone 1) is subject to a visitor’s tax. Therefore, a visitor’s tax must be paid on site. This tax is based on the number of people, their ages, and the length of stay. Information on the high and low seasons and the corresponding rates can be found on the Wangerland Touristik website.
The following are exempt from the visitor’s tax:
a) Children up to and including 3 years of age.
b) Severely disabled persons whose “degree of disability” (formerly: reduced earning capacity) is 100% according to an official ID card.
c) Severely disabled persons who, according to their official ID card, are completely dependent on constant assistance (marked with a “B” on the ID card). This means: regardless of the degree of disability (e.g., GdB 80% and designation “B”).
d) Caregivers accompanying severely disabled persons who, according to their official ID, are completely dependent on constant assistance.
Additional services that can be booked directly with the landlord upon request for a separate fee:
