La Restinga is a charming fishing village on the southern coast of El Hierro, known for its peaceful atmosphere, volcanic landscapes and crystal-clear waters. The village is home to a sheltered black-sand beach, a picturesque harbour and a selection of restaurants where guests can enjoy fresh local fish and traditional Canarian cuisine. The surrounding waters form part of the Mar de Las Calmas Marine Reserve, making La Restinga one of the island's best-known areas for diving, snorkelling and discovering its rich marine life.
Beyond La Restinga, guests can explore the dramatic volcanic scenery of southern El Hierro, including the El Lajial lava formations and the scenic viewpoints of Tanajara and Las Playas.
