El Hierro House of Poetry: Adventure and Solo Writing Retreat — located in the heart of El Pinar.

Casa Poesía de El Hierro was built in the early 1900s by my paternal grandparents. Restored in keeping with traditional island architecture, in 2020 we renovated the interior staircase, adding a unique touch!
It retains the warmth and atmosphere of a family home and the charm of a very special inner courtyard—enclosed by stone walls and the mountains, which provide it with unique privacy and tranquility.

The space
The main entrance leads to the courtyard and the lower level
where you’ll find the kitchen, dining room, and bathroom (shower stall with electric shower).
Upstairs is a spacious living room (where the desk is located) and the bedroom with a balcony and access to the outdoor stairs leading to the patio.
The courtyard is a peaceful, poetic, and private place! A world to discover, experience, and live in! Full of charm; in winter, the vegetation comes back to life and treats us to its splendor!
The island is an explosion of life that changes with the seasons.
