Parking is on site through the arch under the house, with room for up to three vans around Renault Traffic size. Anything taller fits easily on the free street parking right outside.

Silver Road sits in the NR3 area of Norwich, just north of the city centre. It is a friendly, settled neighbourhood that feels safe day and night, with everything you need within a few minutes of the front door.

For essentials, there is a Co-op convenience store a three-minute walk away at the bottom of the road, handy for milk, bread and anything you have forgotten. For a bigger shop, Aldi on Sprowston Road is a three-minute drive, with large Tesco around a 10-minute drive.

When you fancy a pint or a bite out, the Marlborough Arms and the Stanley are both within a seven-minute walk, and Urban Lounge Cafe is an excellent spot during the day, opening some evenings too.

Green space is a real feature here. Mousehold Heath is around a 15-minute walk away, with walking trails and panoramic views over the city skyline, taking in the cathedral, city hall and castle. Waterloo Park and Wensum Park are also nearby.

Worth knowing, the road can get busy during rush hour, but it quietens right down in the evening.

Norwich city centre, with its shopping, dining and historic landmarks like Norwich Cathedral and Norwich Castle, is within easy reach, roughly a 20 to 25 minute walk or a short drive.

Guests have full, private access to the entire home throughout their stay.

Step through the front door and you are in the hallway, with the stairs ahead and the first bedroom to your right, this first of five bedrooms features a 4-foot double bed.

Next room is the communal kitchen, and it is properly equipped. Oven, hob, air fryer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and a full set of crockery. You could cook a roast dinner here if the mood took you. A small table pulls out to seat four, with fold-out chairs in the cupboard when the whole crew eats together.

Off the kitchen sits the utility room with a washer dryer and an American style fridge freezer with a large integrated freezer, ideal for a big shop on longer stays. A cupboard here holds the iron, ironing board and clothes airer. At the very rear of the ground floor is the first shower room, allocated to the ground floor bedroom, and from the utility you step out onto a small patio with a table for sitting out. This is also the smoking area to the rear.

Upstairs, the landing splits three ways. Directly ahead is a bathroom with an overhead shower, serving the single bedroom to your left. To the right is the second small double with its own en-suite shower room, and at the front of the house are two more small doubles, both with en-suite shower rooms too. Every bedroom has storage and blackout curtains fitted, so early starts and late finishes will not cost anyone a proper night's sleep.

By train, Norwich railway station is roughly 1.5 miles from the property. A taxi or local bus is a quicker option, especially if you're travelling with luggage.

By air, Norwich Airport is around 3 miles away, roughly a 10 to 15 minute drive. Taxis are readily available at the airport, and the 501 Park and Ride bus runs into the city centre.

From 222 Silver Road, it's approximately 0.9 miles into Norwich city centre, around a 15 to 20 minute walk.
