Welcome to Hus Fågelfors, a spacious and cosy holiday home in the small village of Fågelfors in the heart of Småland. Surrounded by forests, lakes and typical Swedish countryside, the house offers plenty of space for a relaxing family holiday and is an excellent base for exploring the region.
With around 133 m² of living space, Hus Fågelfors accommodates up to six guests plus one small child. Three separate bedrooms, one bathroom and two additional guest toilets provide plenty of comfort, even for larger families.
The cosy living room is the perfect place to relax after a day outdoors. A fireplace creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, especially during the cooler months. A TV with German channels and internet access are also available. In addition, there is a small library with a home-office workspace, making the house suitable for longer stays or guests who need to work occasionally during their holiday.
Families with children are very welcome. A wide selection of toys and games is available for younger guests.
The fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed for convenient self-catering, including a dishwasher, coffee machine and Nespresso machine. A washing machine and dryer are also available. The house is heated by a modern geothermal heat pump, making it comfortable throughout the year.
One of the highlights is the private sauna in the bathroom. After a day exploring the forests and lakes of Småland, it is the perfect place to relax – especially during autumn and winter.
The detached holiday home stands on a spacious 2,000 m² property. A wooden terrace with outdoor furniture, sun loungers and a Weber charcoal barbecue provides everything you need for long summer days and relaxed evenings outside.
Guests also have free use of six bicycles, making it easy to explore the countryside around Fågelfors. Forests, quiet country roads and cycling routes lead through the typical landscape of Småland.
There is plenty to discover in the surrounding area. Popular nature destinations include the impressive Moreravinen gorge and More Kastell, the bird-rich wetlands of Ryningen, Aboda Klint and the beautiful landscapes surrounding Lake Allgunnen and Ekopark Hornsö. The area is ideal for hiking, cycling, swimming and wildlife watching.
For day trips, you can visit Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's World, the Baltic Sea coast around Oskarshamn, the historic city of Kalmar or the island of Öland. Hus Fågelfors is therefore well located for discovering many of Småland's most popular destinations.
Hus Fågelfors is a non-smoking property and is particularly suitable for guests with animal-hair allergies. For this reason, pets are not permitted.
Final cleaning is included in the total price. Guests must bring their own bed linen and towels. Electricity is charged according to actual consumption. A security deposit of €150 is required for the stay.
