About this house rental
Large house at Melby Farm where you can enjoy the beautiful views, nature, and rural location. You have a lovely garden with a beautiful gazebo and a nice covered terrace where you can enjoy a good meal in the evening sun. On the beautiful balcony, there is a bistro set for those who want to enjoy their coffee in the morning sun. On the lower level, you have a large living room with a large dining area and a sofa group in front of the big TV. In the large kitchen, you also have a dining area. You sleep in four bedrooms. In two of the rooms on the upper level, there is a double bed in each, in the third two single beds. On the lower level, there is the fourth room with a sofa bed that is 120cm wide. Bathroom with sink, toilet, and shower are available on both upper and lower levels. Fireplaces are available in several rooms, but they are not allowed to be used. Please note that the lawn to the right of the house is damaged by earthworks and will be sown with new grass. The back and front of the house are completely unchanged.There are non-operational barns, but you can sometimes enjoy watching cows grazing in the fields around the house. You are close to several lakes for swimming and also the coast. Beautiful Gösjön (6.3km) has a large beach with a diving tower and a jetty for lovely vacation days. There is also mini golf and a kiosk. Lakes with fishing opportunities are nearby, as well as Emån which passes just a kilometer away on its way to Em at Kalmarsund, the Baltic Sea. More Kastell, also called Småland's Grand Canyon with its 8 km long ravine, is well worth a visit. In the nature reserve of Aboda Klint, there is a beautiful viewpoint and a restaurant. You have two popular cafes in Berga with wonderful pastries, Café Tre Århundraden and Elsabo Manor Café. Moose park is located in Målilla. You are also close to the Glass Country and Vimmerby where you have Astrid Lindgren's World. In Oskarshamn, you can enjoy sea bathing and a wider range of activities. Here you can take a day trip with the ferry to Byxelkrok on Öland or Blå Jungfrun. You also have beautiful sea bathing on Oknö.
