Le Loft de l'Uzège is a private 100 m² loft, just 5 minutes by car from historic Uzès. Once a former artist's atelier, it has been thoughtfully transformed into a peaceful retreat while preserving its raw architectural character. Original industrial details have been carefully preserved, giving the loft a unique atmosphere that reflects its artistic past.
Located beneath our home, the loft is completely private and self-contained, with its own entrance and terrace. Designed for two guests, it's a place to slow down and experience the Uzège at your own pace.
DISCOVER THE UZÈGE
Le Loft de l'Uzège is perfectly located for exploring one of the most beautiful regions of southern France. Historic Uzès is just 5 minutes away by car, while the iconic Pont du Gard can be reached in around 15 minutes.
On warm summer days, enjoy a swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Gardon River, also just 15 minutes away. The surrounding vineyards, olive groves and quiet country roads invite you to slow down and discover the Uzège at your own pace.
A complimentary geared bicycle is available for guests who would like to explore the surrounding countryside.
THE LOFT
The open-plan living space brings together the kitchen, dining area and lounge beneath a raised concrete ceiling. Comfortable seating invites you to linger a little longer, while at the far end of the room a natural rock wall has been left exactly as it was found.
Large timber-framed windows fill the loft with natural light throughout the day, creating a seamless connection between indoors and out.
When evening falls, one wall transforms into a home cinema with a 4K projector, perfect for a cosy movie night.
ENTRANCE
Your private entrance leads directly into the loft, where a spacious walk-in wardrobe provides plenty of room for luggage, clothes and everything you bring for your stay.
BEDROOM
Separated from the living space by a large sliding door, the air-conditioned bedroom offers both privacy and the open character of the loft. Wake up slowly, open the doors to the terrace and enjoy a fresh croissant with your morning coffee.
BATHROOM
The spacious bathroom features a full-size walk-in shower, a large washbasin, generous storage space and a full-width mirror. The toilet is enclosed behind its own door for added privacy.
KITCHEN
The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas hob, Nespresso machine, dishwasher and everything you need to prepare a proper meal, whether it's breakfast on the terrace or a relaxed dinner at home.
PRIVATE TERRACE
Step outside onto your private wooden terrace, directly accessible from the living room, kitchen and bedroom. Overlooking olive trees and cypresses, and nestled among the vineyards of the Uzège, it's a peaceful place to enjoy your morning coffee, an evening aperitif or dinner under the stars.
The terrace offers plenty of shade throughout the day, thanks to a mature fig tree and large shade sails, creating a comfortable outdoor space even during the warmest summer months.
An outdoor shower beneath the fig tree provides a refreshing way to cool off after a day exploring the region. When the figs are in season, you're welcome to pick and enjoy them straight from the tree.

A private covered carport is attached to the loft and located directly in front of your private entrance, making arrival and departure effortless.
