Welcome to Via Mariposa, our family-owned luxury desert retreat in the heart of beautiful Indian Wells, California. We’re delighted to welcome you to our home, where every detail has been thoughtfully designed to create a relaxing, comfortable, and memorable getaway. We hope you’ll enjoy your stay as much as our family has enjoyed this special home over the years.
Our location is one of the best in the Coachella Valley. Just minutes away are the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, Indian Wells Golf Resort, El Paseo’s world-famous shopping and dining, The Living Desert Zoo & Gardens, scenic hiking trails, grocery stores, coffee shops, and countless restaurants. Whether you’re visiting for world-class tennis, championship golf, shopping, concerts, festivals, or simply to relax and enjoy the sunshine, everything you need is just a short drive away.
Planning to attend Coachella or Stagecoach? Via Mariposa makes the perfect home base. The Empire Polo Club is only a short drive away, allowing you to enjoy the excitement of the festivals while returning each evening to the peace, comfort, and privacy of your own luxury desert oasis.
Dogs are welcome with prior approval because we know they’re family too! Sorry, no cats. Smoking is permitted outdoors on the patio and pool deck only.

One of the things guests love most about Via Mariposa is its spacious, thoughtfully designed floor plan. The primary suite is tucked away in its own private wing of the home, featuring an oversized bedroom, peaceful greenbelt views, and a luxurious en-suite bathroom. On the opposite side of the home are two comfortable guest bedrooms connected by a Jack & Jill bathroom, creating a private retreat for families or friends traveling together. Because the bedrooms are separated from the kitchen and main living areas, early risers and night owls can comfortably enjoy the home without disturbing one another.
Large sliding glass doors throughout the home fill every room with natural light and create seamless indoor-outdoor living. The kitchen, living room, billiards room, and primary suite each open directly onto the backyard, pool, and patio, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful desert weather throughout the day.
On the opposite side of the home, additional sliding glass doors frame beautiful mountain views, creating the perfect setting to enjoy breakfast, gather around the dining table for dinner, or simply relax with a morning cup of coffee while watching the desert come to life.
