About this house rental
In a quiet area, **at the end of a cul-de-sac**, our family villa is a real green setting, ideal for getting together with family or friends and enjoying a relaxing stay, while being close to Bordeaux and the main tourist sites of the Gironde.
### A private garden and a large swimming pool
The main asset of the villa is undoubtedly its **large garden with trees, completely unoverlooked**, which offers a real feeling of space and tranquility.
In the heart of the garden is a **large swimming pool of 8 × 4 m, or about 50 m³, with a depth of 1.50 m**. It allows you to swim, play or simply cool off. The pool is **treated with bromine**, a particularly pleasant treatment for swimming, with **little smell and a skin-friendly feeling**.
The villa has **two separate outdoor areas**, so you can enjoy the garden at different times of the day.
At the front of the villa, a terrace with **table and chairs** is ideal for breakfasts or outdoor dining. At the back, around the pool, a second area is more dedicated to relaxation, with **armchairs, table and bench**, as well as a **hammock** for reading, taking a nap or simply enjoying the calm.
A **barbecue** is also available for summer meals.
The garden will delight nature lovers. It includes a **small organic vegetable garden**, as well as several fruit trees: **mirabelle plum, queen-claudier, peach and hazelnut**, to which are added different species of trees that give the garden its green and lively character. Depending on the season, you can enjoy some of the fruits of the garden directly.
A **large carport** also allows you to park vehicles in a sheltered place and can be particularly practical for storing bikes, equipment or beach gear.
### A warm and friendly villa
Inside, the villa offers a warm and family atmosphere, with plenty of space to share moments together while maintaining quieter corners.
The villa is equipped with **fibre optics and Wi-Fi 7**, allowing for a fast and efficient connection throughout the house, even when several people are using the Internet simultaneously.
For the evenings, a real small cinema area is installed with **video projector and large screen**, ideal for watching a movie, a series, a match or organising a movie night with family or friends. **A wide range of TV channels are also available.
Music lovers will particularly appreciate the instruments in the villa: **piano, drums, guitars and percussion**.
For quieter moments, a **nice selection of board games, books and comics** is also available for young and old. **Additional games and equipment for children can be made available on request**, to facilitate the stay of families with young children.
### A villa suitable for families... and pets
The villa is particularly suitable for family stays. One room has a **wooden cot**, and we can also provide **an extra travel cot** if necessary.
And because holidays are often even better when the whole family is together, **pets are welcome**. Your four-legged friends will also be able to enjoy the garden and outdoor area. **Dogs can even take a dip in the pool**, if you want to allow them to enjoy the joys of swimming too.
The garden offers plenty of space to play and enjoy the outdoors, while the large swimming pool is naturally the focal point of the villa's life on sunny days.
## An ideal location to discover the area
One of the great advantages of this villa is also **its location**. It allows you to enjoy the calm and greenery of Cestas while remaining very close to Bordeaux.
**Bordeaux can be reached in less than 20 minutes by car**, but it is also possible to leave the car at the carport and reach **the train station on foot**. The train then allows you to easily reach Bordeaux and several destinations in the region.
It is therefore a particularly interesting location for those who wish to **visit Bordeaux without having to take the car**, while enjoying a quiet and green environment in the evening.
The villa is also an excellent starting point to discover the different faces of the region:
* **Bordeaux**: historic centre, quays of the Garonne, restaurants, museums, Cité du Vin and architectural heritage.
* **The Bay of Arcachon**, accessible by car in about **35 to 40 minutes**, to enjoy Arcachon, the beaches, the oyster ports and the villages of the Basin.
* **The Dune of Pilat** and the ocean beaches, perfect for a day on the Atlantic.
* **Saint-Émilion**, accessible **by car or train**, to discover one of the most emblematic wine villages of the region, its alleys, its vineyards and its great wines.
* **The Médoc and its great castles**, for a day dedicated to vineyards, tastings and wine landscapes.
* **The Graves and the Bordeaux vineyards**, with their many estates and properties to discover.
* **The Dordogne**, accessible in less than two hours, including **Sarlat-la-Canéda**, the medieval villages, the castles and valleys of the Dordogne and the Vézère.
* Numerous possibilities for **hiking, cycling, water activities and gastronomic discoveries** in the surrounding area.
The location of the villa makes it very easy to combine **two types of holidays**: take full advantage of a quiet villa with swimming pool and garden without vis-à-vis, or discover Bordeaux, the ocean, the Bassin d'Arcachon, Saint-Émilion, the vineyards and landscapes of the South-West.
## A place to really disconnect
Here, the idea is to enjoy a **quiet, natural and unoverlooked** environment, while having enough facilities to never get bored.
A day can start around breakfast In the garden, continue with a few laps in the pool, a barbecue lunch, a nap in the hammock or a moment in the vegetable garden. You can then go and discover Bordeaux, the Basin, Saint-Émilion or the vineyards, before returning to enjoy the villa quietly.
In the evening, it's time for a meal on the terrace, a few pieces of music on the piano or guitar, a board game, a book or a comic book, then possibly a film on the **large screen of the video projector**.
**A lively and warm family villa, with a large swimming pool, a garden entirely without vis-à-vis, two outdoor spaces, a vegetable garden, fruit trees, a cinema area, musical instruments and many facilities for young and old. All this in a quiet environment at the end of a cul-de-sac, while being ideally located to discover Bordeaux, the Bassin d'Arcachon, Saint-Émilion, the vineyards, the Médoc and the Dordogne. And because holidays are also for families, four-legged friends are welcome.**
