The apartment is located on the first floor of a historic, landmark-protected building and combines the special charm of a historic structure with spacious rooms, high ceilings, and a cozy living atmosphere.
With room for up to 3 people, the apartment is ideal for couples, friends, or a small family looking to explore Plön and the beautiful Holstein Switzerland region.
Sleeping & Living
Bedroom 1/ The master bedroom features a comfortable double bed (1.60 × 2.00 m) with two separate mattresses—ideal for a restful night’s sleep and personalized comfort.
Bedroom 2, or the home office, is equipped with a spacious sofa bed (1.40 × 2.00 m). During the day, the room serves as a pleasant workspace or retreat and can be transformed into a cozy sleeping area as needed.
The open loggia, with views of the greenery and the historic castle grounds, invites you to start the day with breakfast in the morning sun or to wind down the day with a glass of wine.
Pleasant living environment—even in summer
The apartment is located on the first floor and, thanks to the construction of the historic building, offers a pleasantly balanced living environment. Even on warm summer days, it’s a wonderful place to relax.
The windows facing the sunny side are equipped with roller shades and curtains. This allows you to adjust the amount of sunlight according to your personal preferences and ensure a pleasant and comfortable room temperature even in the summer.

The vacation rental’s greatest strength is its central location in the Plön Castle area. The Great Plön Lake is about a 3-minute walk away, as is the beautiful Plön Castle.
The city center, with its restaurants, cafés, shops, and other attractions**, is also within easy walking distance. You can leave your car parked on the property during your stay.
Right outside the door, the charming castle grounds begin, with their historic linden tree-lined avenues and idyllic paths. The surrounding area is perfect for walks, bike rides, and extended explorations.

You can conveniently store your bicycles on the property or in the separate basement storage room. The basement storage room is accessible via six steps.

To ensure our guests feel completely at home in the apartment, the accommodations are designed for a quiet and relaxing getaway.
Due to the apartment’s amenities and layout, it is unfortunately not suitable for children under 8 years of age. We sincerely appreciate your understanding.
For the comfort of our guests, the apartment is also a smoke-free property. Unfortunately, we are also unable to accommodate pets. We hope you understand and that you’ll still feel completely welcome here.
Check-in and Check-out – Flexible and Relaxed
Check-in is available starting at 4:00 PM. If the apartment is ready for occupancy earlier on your arrival day, we’ll be happy to accommodate an earlier check-in—subject to availability.
Check-out is by 11:00 a.m., If occupancy and the cleaning schedule allow, a later check-out is also possible upon prior arrangement. We’re happy to do our best to make your arrival and departure as pleasant and flexible as possible.
Whenever possible, we greet our guests in person and warmly welcome you to our vacation rental. Should a personal key handover not be possible, you can check in easily and flexibly using our key safe. You will, of course, receive the necessary information well in advance of your arrival.
