The town of Bosau, along with its district Hutzfeld, is located in the heart of Holstein Switzerland, surrounded by numerous attractions along the Baltic Sea and in Schleswig-Holstein.
By car, it’s about a 1-hour, 85-km drive to Fehmarn, the island with the most hours of sunshine per year.
Timmendorfer Strand, with its beautiful promenade, is about a 25-minute drive away.
You can reach the Bosau swimming area, featuring the beautiful Großer Plöner See, in about 10 minutes by bike; it’s also within easy walking distance.
Other attractions include Hansa Park in Sierksdorf, about 29 km away.
