Nestled in the Scenic Heights community, Rosebud is a cozy family-friendly cabin just minutes from Gorge Underground and about 15 minutes from Natural Bridge State Resort Park. Unwind in the private hot tub, gather around the fire pit, or relax on the deck after a day of adventure. Sleeps up to 8 guests, with two unique built-in sleeping alcoves that kids will love. We recommend a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children for the most comfortable stay.
The Space:
•Main Floor
Inviting living room with a comfortable sofa, loveseat, and coffee table. Smart TV Guests can log into their own streaming accounts for all the smart apps.
Fully equipped kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, oven, microwave, standard drip coffee maker, and a dining table with bar seating for six.
•Bedrooms
Downstairs you'll find the king bedroom featuring a closet and private en suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination and in-unit washer and dryer.
Second bedroom with a Queen bed and a closet.
Second full bathroom with a tub/shower combination.
•Upper Level
Spacious loft with a queen bed, a fun teepee play tent for little adventurers, and two built-in twin bed sleeping alcoves that kids will love.
The sleeping alcoves feature low ceilings and are best suited for children. While the cabin sleeps up to 8 guests, we recommend a maximum occupancy of 6 adults and 2 children for the best experience.
•Outdoor Space
Step outside to enjoy your private wooded retreat. Relax in the 4 person hot tub, gather around the fire pit, or cook dinner on the propane grill with propane provided. The deck also offers comfortable outdoor seating, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring Red River Gorge.
Guest Access:
As our guest, you have full private access to the entire three bedroom cabin, ensuring a secluded and comfortable retreat for your group. Inside, you will enjoy complete use of the fully equipped kitchen, the cozy indoor fireplace, and the laundry facilities. Outside, your private space includes a relaxing patio area complete with outdoor seating, a barbecue grill, and a fire pit perfect for evenings under the stars. You are also welcome to enjoy the private hot tub during your stay. Free parking is provided directly on the premises for your convenience.
The Neighborhood:
Rosebud is tucked away in the peaceful Scenic Heights cabin community, just off Glencairn Road. Surrounded by beautiful woods and other vacation cabins, it offers a quiet retreat while keeping you close to many of Red River Gorge's most popular attractions.
The community is accessed by a well maintained gravel road. While the road is generally smooth and easily traveled in normal weather conditions, guests should be comfortable driving on gravel. A standard 2WD vehicle is typically sufficient, and 4WD is not required under normal driving conditions.

Gorge Underground. 5 minutes
Natural Bridge State Resort Park. 7 minutes
Nada Tunnel. 20 minutes
Sky Bridge Recreation Area. 20 minutes
Miguel's Pizza. 8 minutes

Getting Around:
Getting to Rosebud is part of the adventure of visiting the beautiful Red River Gorge area. Because our cabin is located in a rural setting in Gillmore Kentucky, we highly recommend arriving by personal vehicle as there is no public transportation available in the immediate vicinity. You will enjoy the convenience of free parking right on the premises for your vehicle. Please plan your travel accordingly as the area is remote and GPS navigation can sometimes be tricky. We suggest arriving before 11 PM to ensure you can easily navigate the final stretch to the cabin during daylight or early evening hours.
Other Things to Note:
Each RRG Getaways cabin is unique, but we provide the following starter supplies at every property: hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent pods, and basic cleaning supplies. Once these starter supplies have been used, guests are responsible for purchasing any additional items needed during their stay.
•We do not provide perishable or consumable items, including coffee, cooking oil, salt, pepper, spices, or similar pantry items.
•Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided.
•Firewood is not provided.
•Propane is provided for the grill. If the propane tank runs empty during your stay, simply let us know and we'll be happy to bring you a full replacement.
•The Smart TV is streaming only. Guests are welcome to log into their own streaming accounts. Cable service is not available.
•Smoking or vaping of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the cabin.
•This cabin is connected to city water, which is filtered and safe for drinking.
•The cabin is accessed by a well maintained gravel road. A 4WD vehicle is not required under normal driving conditions, though guests should be comfortable driving on gravel roads.
•Pets are not permitted. Evidence of an unauthorized pet will result in a $100 pet violation fee.
