About this cabin rental
Top choice cabin! Newer large Log cabin with mountain themed decor. the proud owners have young kids so this is a kid friendly cabin and is constantly improving, adding, and updating amenities, 4 private bedrooms, 2.5-Baths. Woodpointe is the best choice for families seeking a large group cabin that isn't close to any cliff edges or cliff lines. This cabin is centrally located to all of the areas activities.
All new furnishings, covered private hot tub patio, camp fire pit, 4-season sun room, Enormous brand new covered deck with a Gas Grill, outdoor dining table, lounge chairs, fiber optic Wi-Fi, board games, ping-pong table and 60 game arcade game system. The kitchen features New Appliances including: Large Refrigerator with filtered water dispenser and automatic ice-maker, Dishwasher, Microwave, Full sized Washer and Dryer (a must for large groups), and large flat screen Smart TV's in the main living room and lower level game room. Located centrally in the rolling hills of Scenic Heights Resort.
Three bedrooms have king beds and one bedroom has a Queen bed. Two bedrooms are on the main level. The master has a king bed and private access to the Jack-n-Jill hybrid 1.5 bathroom, the 2nd main floor bedroom has a queen bed and share the 1.5 bathroom. The shared half bath and the master half bath share access to the common shower room through their respective doors. Two more bedrooms are downstairs, both with king beds, and share a full bathroom with washer and dryer for guest use. All bedrooms have closet space for guests. Cabin can sleep up to 8 people. Comes with two living spaces: a large, cozy family room upstairs and a huge game/living room downstairs with Ping Pong table, 60 game arcade game, and board games. Fiber optic WiFi, is hard wired to the Smart TV in the main living room with mini video port for streaming, and DVD player (No Satellite TV). Just outside the game room on the covered patio is a 6-person hot tub and outdoor seating. Downhill from the patio is the large manicured lawn with plenty of space for outdoor games and activities like soccer, baseball, practicing chip shots etc. A fire pit, perfect for toasting s'mores while gazing at the stars is just outside of the covered hot tub patio. The Very spacious kitchen has a large dining table and island with bar stool seating can seat up to 10. Kitchen features oven, stove, refrigerator with filtered water dispenser and automatic ice-maker, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot and all of the dinnerware and cookware you need for a weekend getaway or extended stay! Cabin has central heat/air with individual heaters and fans available throughout the cabin.
This cabin has easy access roads (4-WD is not necessary), no steep roads and no problems. The last Quarter mile is a gravel road in the rolling hills of Scenic Heights Resort and arrives to a flat gravel driveway at the Cabin, just steps from the front door.

Located in such a great location for our family vacation (adults, teenager, and adult son and girlfriend) to explore Red River Gorge. We were right down the street from underground kayaking, within 20 minutes of every hike that we did and super close to restaurants. Plenty of space for all of us in the kitchen and living room, and plenty of privacy with the 2 floors of bedrooms and multiple bathrooms.

We stayed at Woodpointe cabin 2nd week of June and we'd defiantly give it a thumbs up. Easy check in, just stop by the Daniel Boone coffee shop and pick up the keys witch was right on the way to the cabin, we arrived and the cabin was clean and well stocked with cooking utensils as we brought all our food to cook meals. we had 7 in our group. it was spacious, comfortable beds, 3 bathrooms, big yard for the kids to run around in. Centrally located to many activities made a plus. A huge deck to relax on. gas grill to cook on and fire pit with chairs made for relaxing times. We enjoyed our stay and would defiantly stay again.Scott W and group

The cabin is in a great location and overall is fine, but definitely not what we expected.The listing says the home has 2 living rooms, but there is really only one. The second "living area" is in the basement and has 4 bar stools and a ping pong table, it's not a lounging living space. The downstairs bathroom started leaking on our 2nd to last day causing a foul odor to permeate the downstairs. We looked under the kitchen sink upstairs and noticed an overflowing bucket placed underneath the kitchen sink. We were able to empty the bucket and eventually stop the leak, but the smell wouldn't dissipate. There is a 4-season sun room off of the main floor, but there was no heat in that room, so it was unusable during our stay. The grill did not work and the dryer took several cycles to dry a small load. We had to wash towels while we were there (4 nights), due to the low quality of the towels, some of which were threadbare. The microwave in the kitchen also worked sporadically. Thankfully there was a 2nd microwave in the basement that we were able to use. The kitchen cabinets and fridge did not appear to be fully cleaned, so we wiped those down.
