Located just a short walk from downtown New Baltimore and the beautiful Lake St. Clair waterfront, Balti Bay Loft puts you close to the beach, fishing pier, waterfront pavilion, restaurants, shops, winery, and seasonal events—all while giving you a comfortable place to relax at the end of the day.

The main floor features:

Upstairs, the spacious loft sleeping area provides additional sleeping and hangout space with:

Balti Bay Loft is conveniently located near multiple boat launches, making it a great home base for exploring Lake St. Clair.
The property offers on-site parking for vehicles, boats, and trailers, so you don’t have to leave your boat somewhere else overnight.
Lake St. Clair is known for fantastic fishing and boating opportunities, and our location makes it easy to get on the water and make the most of your trip.

Coming to Lake St. Clair to fish? You’ll be right where you want to be.
Our area welcomes recreational anglers, fishing clubs, and tournament participants throughout the season. After a long day on the water, come back to the Loft, relax on the patio, enjoy the backyard, and get ready for another day on the lake.
🔥 Outdoor Space
When you’re not exploring the lake or downtown, enjoy time outside at the property.
Relax on the private patio, unwind in the hammock, or spend time together in the large backyard. There’s plenty of space to enjoy a quiet morning coffee or relax after a full day of adventures.

After a day at the beach or on the water, settle in and make yourself at home. The house has 3 TVs, comfortable gathering spaces, and games for laid-back evenings.
The separate loft area is especially nice for families or groups, giving guests another place to watch TV, play games, or simply spread out.

We enjoy welcoming families and want traveling with children to be a little easier. A high chair, booster seat, and playpen are available upon request.
The nearby beach, playground, waterfront, and walkable downtown make the area especially fun for families.

Depending on the season, spend your trip:
Spring & Summer:
Boating, swimming, fishing, beach days, waterfront walks, farmers markets, festivals, outdoor dining, and exploring Lake St. Clair.
Fall:
Enjoy cooler lake days, fishing, local fall events, colorful drives, downtown activities, and cozy evenings back at the Loft.
Winter:
The lake area takes on an entirely different personality. Ice fishing and other winter activities make Balti Bay a fun year-round destination.
🏠 Traveling With a Larger Group?
Balti Bay Loft is part of a duplex, and the neighboring Balti Bay Lodge may also be available to rent.
For larger families, multiple families traveling together, fishing groups, or other larger gatherings, both sides can potentially be reserved together as Balti Bay Retreat, providing additional bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, patios, and parking while still allowing each group to have its own space.
Ask us about availability if your group needs additional accommodations.
