The kilometer-long beach promenade connects Baabe with the Baltic Sea resorts of Sellin and Göhren and is perfect for long walks or bike rides. In the immediate vicinity, you’ll find bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, and small shops for everyday needs. Bike rentals, playgrounds, and recreational activities round out the offerings. A highlight is the historic narrow-gauge railway “Rasender Roland,” whose stop is only about 250 meters from the vacation rental. You can relax and explore the most beautiful spots on the island of Rügen aboard this nostalgic steam train. Nature lovers will find plenty to enjoy in the UNESCO Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve. Hiking and biking trails wind through diverse coastal landscapes. Popular destinations such as the Sellin Pier, Granitz Hunting Lodge, and other Baltic Sea resorts are within easy reach. Welcome to the non-smoking vacation rental No. 01 “Strandgut.” The approximately 49 m² vacation rental is ideally suited for 2 to 4 people. The bright living area features a cozy couch corner (can be converted into a bed for a 3rd or 4th person, 1.18 m x 2.15 m), a coffee table, a floor lamp, a TV stand with a smart TV and soundbar, a sideboard, a DAB radio, and Wi-Fi access. From here, you have direct access to the sunny, furnished southwest-facing terrace with a parasol—the perfect spot for a relaxed breakfast or a cozy way to end the day. The adjacent, fully equipped kitchenette features a dishwasher, an oven, a ceramic cooktop, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a microwave, a blender, an immersion blender, an egg cooker, a coffee pad machine, a coffee maker, a Senseo pad machine, a toaster, and a kettle, so you can enjoy all your meals. The space is rounded out by a dining area. The bedroom is equipped with a high-quality box-spring bed (1.80 m × 2.00 m), bedside tables with lighting, a wardrobe with an iron and ironing board, and exterior shutters, which ensure restful nights. The en suite bathroom features a walk-in shower, a toilet, a hair dryer, a sink, and a towel warmer. For our younger guests, a travel crib (without a mattress) and a high chair are included. Bicycle storage is available in the underground garage in the apartment’s private basement (No. 01). Your parking space is located in the underground garage (No. 01, entry height 1.90 m). Pets are not allowed in the apartment. You can book an initial linen package (complete set of bed linens, 1 shower towel, 1 small hand towel) up to 14 days before arrival for an additional fee, or you can provide your own. If you book 2 or more packages, you’ll receive 1 dish towel and 1 shower mat as a one-time bonus.
