About this apartment rental
A 3-bedroom log-style cabin sitting just 0.3 miles from the Snow Summit base — as close to the slopes as a private Big Bear cabin gets. Hickory & Stone are the two standout features you notice first: the warm hickory wood cabinetry in the premium kitchen and the stacked-stone fireplace anchoring the living room. Upstairs, the master suite has a soaking tub, shower, dual sinks, and a private deck. Downstairs, a fenced yard, ping pong room. A cabin built for families and groups who want to be first on the mountain and last to leave. No car scraping, no shuttle, no parking stress — just walk out the door and go.
The Space:
From the outside, the log-style construction sets this cabin apart immediately — warm timber tones, multi-level decks, and tall pines framing the whole property. Inside, the open floor plan flows from the living room through the dining area and kitchen without walls in the way, making it ideal for groups cooking, eating, and gathering at the same time.
The living room is centered around a dramatic stacked-stone fireplace — the kind that fills the room with warmth after a cold day on the mountain. Leather sofas, a colorful area rug, and large bay windows pull in natural light from the treetops outside.
Hickory wood cabinetry runs wall to wall, granite countertops throughout, and the appliances are full-size and gas. A bar-top peninsula connects the kitchen to the dining area — great for casual meals, apres-ski snacks, or a morning coffee spread before the lifts open.
Dining area — a proper sit-down space with chandelier lighting and seating. Separate from but open to the kitchen and living room.
Game room — a dedicated bonus room set up with a ping pong table and shelving. The go-to spot after dinner or on a rest day off the slopes.
Bedrooms — 3 (all upstairs):
Master suite — Queen bed, ceiling fan, door to private deck, en-suite with soaking tub, separate walk-in shower, dual sinks, and wood vanity. A genuine retreat.
2nd bedroom — queen bed, ceiling fan, bright and comfortable.
Bunk room — Twin bed size up and double size bed down, great for kids or extra guests who want their own space.
Bathrooms — 2.5 total:
Master en-suite: soaking tub, walk-in shower, dual-sink wood vanity
Shared guest bathroom: full bath with tub/shower combo
Half bath downstairs for convenience
Laundry: Full-size washer and dryer in dedicated laundry room — downstairs, out of the way.
