About this cottage rental
The space
Welcome to Orchard Cottage, a beautifully styled country retreat surrounded by the rolling Gloucestershire countryside, perfectly placed for exploring the Cotswolds, Cheltenham and Cirencester.
Thoughtfully designed to feel more like a beautiful country home than a holiday let, Orchard Cottage combines relaxed Cotswold charm with comfortable, considered interiors.
The cottage sleeps six guests comfortably across three bedrooms: two double bedrooms and one twin. For larger families or groups, a double sofa bed can be prepared in one of the sitting rooms by prior arrangement, allowing the cottage to accommodate up to eight guests. Additional charges apply for guests 7 and 8.
Downstairs, the kitchen and dining area provide a welcoming space for relaxed breakfasts and evenings together, while the comfortable sitting room is perfect for curling up after a day exploring.
Upstairs you'll find a second, wonderfully cosy sitting room - a lovely additional space for reading, relaxing, playing games or giving children their own place to unwind.
There are two bathrooms, making the cottage particularly comfortable for families and groups travelling together. One bathroom has a bath and the second has a shower.
Outside, guests have a private terrace for morning coffee or an evening drink, together with private driveway parking.
Whilst the cottage does not have a private garden, beautiful countryside and footpaths can be accessed from the doorstep, which forms part of a bridleway.
Orchard Cottage makes a wonderful base whether you're planning long country walks, a weekend of fabulous food, a family Cotswold adventure, a Cheltenham event or simply a few peaceful days away.
Orchard Cottage enjoys a peaceful countryside setting while being wonderfully well connected for exploring some of the best of the Cotswolds.
Nearby Elkstone is home to a growing collection of independent businesses, food, shopping and wellness experiences, while both Cheltenham and Cirencester are within easy driving distance.
Cirencester, often described as the Capital of the Cotswolds, is perfect for independent shops, cafés, restaurants, markets and exploring its Roman heritage.
In the other direction, Cheltenham offers excellent restaurants and shopping alongside its internationally renowned racing and calendar of festivals.
Further afield, many of the Cotswolds' best-known villages and attractions make wonderful day trips, including Bibury, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold, Burford and Broadway.
For those who would rather leave the car behind, countryside walks begin from the doorstep.
Guest access
Guests have private use of Orchard Cottage throughout their stay, including all three bedrooms, both sitting rooms, the kitchen and dining areas, two bathrooms and the private terrace.
The cottage has its own driveway and guest parking.
Countryside walks can be enjoyed directly from the property, with footpaths leading out into the surrounding Gloucestershire countryside.
Orchard Cottage sits within the grounds of a private rural property. The owners' home and grounds are separate and are not accessible to guests, allowing both guests and owners to enjoy their privacy.
