Alpine Haven with Fireplace and Private Garden

Chalet Appartement Hörndle is located in Umhausen in the centre of the Ötztal and is an ideal starting point for many activities. The spacious and modern chalet flat "Hörndle" in the Landhaus Waldhart extends over two floors. It can be booked separately as the Stuibenfall flat and the Blockkogel flat (each for 2 to 5 or 6 people) and has a living space of approx. 160m². Our "Hörndle" has a double room and a triple room on the ground floor and a bathroom with shower and a separate WC. On the ground floor there is also a cosy lounge area (without kitchen). A spiral staircase leads to the 1st floor. There are two further triple bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower/WC and bath/WC. The open-plan living and dining area offers space for up to 12 people and is equipped with a fireplace. A fully equipped kitchen with access to the balcony is located right next to the living area. The garden can also be used. A small play area is located at the back of the parterre, where the ski boot dryer is also located. A garden with a covered terrace is available for private use. There is also a charcoal barbecue and sun loungers in the garden. We are a partner of the Summer Card! In summer from June to October the card is included in the price. With this card you benefit from many advantages in the Ötztal: all open mountain lifts, public transport, admission to the swimming pools and bathing lakes, admission to the museums, Ötztal Birds of Prey Park, and much more. The Stuibenfall - Tyrol's largest waterfall, the Ötzi Village, the Birds of Prey Park and the Umhausen bathing lake are all located close to our hotel. Thanks to the excellent location in the centre of the Ötztal, you can quickly reach all the sights. The Hochoetz-Küthai, Sölden and Gurgl ski areas can be reached in a few minutes by car or with the free ski bus. The Stuibenfall - Tyrol's largest waterfall is a 30-minute walk away. In our "Erlebnisstodl" you will find a creative room for handicrafts and painting, a gymnastics world with bouldering area and a playroom with Playmobil and Lego (for children aged 0-8 years). In the lower area there is a small indoor area for gymnastics, playing football or a game of table tennis. Our two ponies Sissi & Maya, rabbits Misa & Leandro and guinea pigs Knut & Madonna are also looking forward to your visit. They live in the "pony stable". This area can ONLY be booked on request! Our house is located in Umhausen. You can reach the Ötzi village, the Ötztal Birds of Prey Park and the Umhausen natural swimming lake in just a few minutes. The Stuibenfall - Tyrol's largest waterfall is just a 30-minute walk away. The top ski areas of Sölden, Gurgl and the Hochoetz-Küthai family ski area can be reached in just a few minutes by car. In summer, the hiking trails start directly from the flat. You can experience swimming, adventure sports, climbing, mountain biking, mountain hiking and much more here with us.
