Modern Two Bedroom Retreat

The apartment was in a perfect location, with the M3 metro station and other public transport nearby. Lidl was just around the corner, and the Westend shopping mall was within easy reach. Communication with the host was smooth, and he was very friendly. We received the check-in instructions in advance, which made everything easy. The apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed, including plenty of dishes and cutlery, a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, and drying rack as well. There was also plenty of storage space and electric shutters. The street was quiet, too. Overall, a great place to stay! One small detail: the apartment has a stovetop moka pot rather than a regular coffee machine. Since not everyone is familiar with this type of coffee maker, it’s worth mentioning. Coffee and sugar are provided which was also a lovely bonus.

There was only one key for the apartment and one access fob for the main entrance, which can be inconvenient for a group. We weren’t given an entry code, so having an extra fob would have been helpful. The dining table was a bit too small to comfortably fit all four chairs, although the chairs themselves were very comfortable. The main downside was the bathroom. The toilet seat was extremely loose, making it uncomfortable to use. I informed the host immediately, but unfortunately, it couldn’t be replaced during our stay because a new one had to be ordered. The bathroom also had an unpleasant, musty smell despite using the ventilation, and the shower floor wasn’t properly cleaned. Water also leaked onto the bathroom floor because the seal at the bottom of the shower door didn’t work properly. Overall, the bathroom was definitely the weakest point of the apartment. Despite these issues, we were happy with our stay and would gladly return!
