Bathroom-no toilet brushes and the bath/shower lacked hand holds/shower mat which is a concern as the bath was slippy. These are easy problems to remedy.

Many traditional old farmhouse features retained. Cosy property, comfy beds.
Broadband was not working. Apparently a local infrastructure repair issue. But it stopped our work plans and our intention to catch up on some streaming series we were looking forward to. In a mobile dead spot too. So felt off grid.

WIFI not operating and phone signal inadequate to receive data. The owners had left a printed message blaming bad weather meaning repair work had had to be done on the local phone masts. This stretches credulity and the booking form should state that WIFI is unreliable as some people rely on WIFI especially those who have to work or maintain contact whilst staying there.. Also advice should be given that the path in is unsuitable for people with limited physical capability and also the shower.
