RECREATIONAL EQUIPMENT & WATER SAFETY
Use of the kayaks, paddleboard, inflatable floats, bicycles, dock, shoreline, and other recreational equipment is voluntary and entirely at the guest’s own risk. Guests assume all risks associated with being in or near the water and with using the recreational equipment.
Life jackets and bicycle helmets are provided. A properly fitted life jacket must accompany each person using a kayak or paddleboard, in accordance with applicable Indiana requirements. For additional safety, this property requires guests to wear the provided life jackets while participating in water activities and to wear helmets while riding the bicycles. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Guests are responsible for inspecting all recreational equipment before use and must not use anything that appears damaged, unsafe, or unsuitable. Guests must follow all posted instructions and applicable boating, water-safety, and traffic laws.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the property owner and host are not responsible for accidents, injuries, death, loss, or damage occurring in the home, elsewhere on the property, in or around the water, or while using the kayaks, paddleboard, inflatable floats, bicycles, dock, or other recreational equipment.
