A unique hilltop location, with some of the best views in the region from the three beautifully landscaped terraces. Five minutes above the beautiful Catalonian village of Laroque des Alberes which includes a patisserie, butchers, fruit and vegetable shop, news agent and pharmacy as well as several excellent restaurants and bars including a pizzeria. As you come into Laroque before reaching the village there is a commercial zone with hairdressers, large Carrefour supermarket and many other retail shops.

Close to beautiful beaches such as Argeles, Collioure, Le Racou and Canet Plage. We are only 20 minutes from the Spanish boarder giving you access to Girona, Figueres (home of the Dali museum) and even Barcelona all can be done in a day trip. The trip along the winding coast road through the coastal towns of Collioure, Port Vendre, Banyules Sur Mer and Cebere before crossing into the Spanish town of Portbou is a must. Carcassonne and Canal du Midi are only 90 minutes away. Airports in the region included Barcelona ( 2 hours’ drive flights all year round) Girona Barcelona, (1 hour drive flights all year round) Carcassonne (90 minutes’ drive flights all year round) and Perpignan (Flights March to October 50 minutes’ drive)

The property is in a tranquil location with a dedicated off-road parking area directly opposite the apartment. Our guests have access to the well-maintained communal swimming pool June - September, tennis court all year round and table tennis area June - September on the Domaine just a 10-minute walk away or 2-minute drive.

The Apartment has two double bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed with a large En - suite bathroom with deep bath and shower. The second bedroom has a double bed and access across the hall to a shower room with toilet. All rooms are decorated sympathetically to reflect the country location and region. There is a well-equipped galley kitchen with one step down to the comfortable sitting room which is bright and sunny with those stunning views night and day. One step up from the lounge will take you to the open plan dining area with a large wooden dining table and lots of lovely items such as tea lights and candles to make your stay special.

The view must be experienced to be believed each night delivering spectacular sunsets and clear skies for star gazing. The apartment is well equipped with oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge and additional large fridge and freezer. There is a separate laundry area on the third level with washing machine and dryer. Everything has been thought of to make your stay a 'home away from home' experience. All towels, beach and personal and quality bed linen is provided with lots of extras to make your stay special. Black out shutters in each bedroom plus the tranquillity of the area ensures a most blissful night’s sleep. This well-appointed apartment, its unique location and views surrounded by the Alberes mountains and close to the stunning Vermeille Coast makes this a wonderful holiday destination.

There is a range of terrace furniture for each terrace. This includes the balcony terrace from the lounge with panoramic views, the side terrace for views over the landscaped gardens with the mountains to the left and the valley floor to the front. There is a covered terrace on the third level with a beautiful cactus garden. There are umbrellas, chairs, cool boxes and picnic containers to take your picnic to the beach, pool or to the number of lakes in the area.
