Epona's House - LABATUT

Ideally located in the southern Landes region, at the crossroads of the Basque Country, the Béarn mountains, and the southern Landes beaches, lies Labatut, a village in the kiwi valley. Gastronomy, listed heritage sites, flower-filled villages, cultural traditions and folklore, water sports, and hiking trails make it a prime destination for lovers of nature, history, and tradition. The old village, clustered around the church and set back from the main road, is a pleasant place to stop for you, our visitors. In a peaceful setting, just outside the village, the gîte La Maison d'Epona welcomes you year-round, whether you're a family or a couple, for a weekend getaway or a longer stay. You'll have access to the swimming pool, shared with the owners. Located on the ground floor, the cottage offers: An open-plan living area serving as a kitchen, living room, and lounge; a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge-freezer, microwave, ceramic hob, electric oven, and dishwasher; a lounge with a wall-mounted television and Wi-Fi access; a bathroom with a bathtub and toilet; one bedroom with a king-size bed (180x200 cm); one bedroom with two single beds (90x190 cm). You can enjoy the wooded, unfenced grounds surrounding the cottage, as well as the covered terrace with garden furniture and an electric barbecue. The property is located on shared land with the owners. There are meadows at the entrance to the property where horses graze. A shared 10m x 5m swimming pool, 1.40m deep, is secured by an alarm. It is open from May to the end of September, weather permitting. Baby equipment is available upon request. We welcome your pet; we have two dogs ourselves.
