Private Lake Michigan Beach: "An Appeal To Heaven"

Unwind in New Era at this adorable house. With three bedrooms featuring two queen beds, one full bed, and a twin bed, there’s plenty of space for everyone. Three bathrooms with showers and a half bath make mornings easy and stress-free. Guests can spread out in the lower level family and bunk room, which offers additional sleeping options including two queen beds, two twin beds, and a sofa bed. The house stays comfortable year-round with heating and AC. Kick back, relax, and enjoy everything New Era and our fabulous house has to offer.

Welcome to "An Appeal To Heaven." The property features 3 private bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and a lower level bunk area with two twin over queen bunks. The getaway has private Lake Michigan beach frontage. There are approximately 100 steps down the beach, an outdoor shower, fire pit in the yard and fire ring for the beach, a hot tub (spa), gas and charcoal grills, and many happy memories.

The space
The Lake Michigan beach is private, but overflow guests could consider staying at Claybanks Township Campground, a few doors down.

The sleeping areas and upstairs and lower level bathrooms have window coverings. There are not window coverings on all of the windows in the common areas and main living level.

Other things to note
House rules
Please remove shoes on the front porch or back porch and use the exterior shower when returning from the beach to de-sand.

Internet
There is wifi at the home.

Check In
We will be prepared for you to arrive after 4 PM. Please check out by 11 AM on your day of departure.

Smoking
Smoking of anything is completely prohibited on the property, including the beach.

Fires/fire pits
There is a fire pit in the front yard. No fires are allowed on the decks of the home.
A fire ring is available for beach fires.
There is firewood at the home which you are welcome to use.

Grill
There is a charcoal grill and a gas grill.

Beach Chairs
Beach Chairs are available for use.

Garbage
Garbage must be at the curb for guests staying overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday morning.

Pet Policy
Pets are not permitted.

Lake Safety, Hot tub safety, and the Beach
By booking this property and playing near, swimming in, or using water sports in Lake Michigan, you agree that use is at your own party's discretion and risk. A link will be provided to the National Weather Service information on beach alerts for the Great Lakes. Children should never be left attended on the beach. Please ask your group to not climb on the dunes, to avoid erosion. Similarly, in booking, you agree that use of the hot tub is at your own risk, and children should not be left unattended near or in the hot tub.

A washer and dryer are available for your stay.

Thermostat and Heat
Heat, central A/C, and fans are available for your use.

Other
The home's water supply is well water. If you prefer to drink bottled water, consider bringing some along. There is a water dispenser inside of the refrigerator.

The cottage is in a wooded area where there is wildlife including rodents and insects. We do our best to keep critters out by keeping the doors and windows closed. Fruits left out can attract fruit flies. Thank you for your understanding!
