The Barn" is a converted old barn where rural heritage meets curated modern design, vintage pieces, and art. Perched on a panoramic hill with near-360-degree views of the Alps and plains, it is embraced by our natural olive grove. This retreat defines "frugal luxury"—where true elegance lies in simplicity, raw materials, and authenticity. It is the perfect place to slow down and reconnect to nature.

The space
Step inside this newly converted old barn to discover a thoughtfully designed split-level retreat celebrating the concept of frugal luxury. The ground floor opens into a welcoming hallway that leads to a sleek, modern bathroom featuring an exceptionally large, spacious walk-in shower, as well as a separate, practical utility and laundry storage to keep your belongings organized during longer stays. The heart of the ground floor is the open-space living area. Here, a state-of-the-art metal finishing kitchen with a durable porcelain stoneware (gres) top and striking black appliances seamlessly coexists with an eclectic living room. You can relax in designer vintage armchairs, surrounded by raw wood coffee tables, a warm cowhide rug, and unique abstract oil paintings that bring an artistic energy to the space. For your mornings, a dedicated breakfast corner is fully stocked with a coffee machine, toaster, kettle, and, despite breackfast* is not include in the stay, we provide biscuits, coffee, milk and a selection of teas and herbal infusions.
To accommodate larger groups, an extra bed for 2 additional guests (either a sofa bed or a comfortable air bed) can be seamlessly set up on this ground floor level.
The architectural centerpiece of the room is a striking, vintage cast-iron spiral staircase finished in a soft sage green. Climbing the stairs takes you up to the mezzanine level—a romantic, quiet sanctuary tucked under the old barn’s original exposed wooden beams. Beside the comfortable double bed sits the ultimate highlight of the property: a beautiful freestanding bathtub, turning the entire upper loft into your own private spa oasis for peaceful evening relaxation.

Outside the BarnThe experience of the Barn extends beautifully into the outdoors, shaped by its unique hilltop location in Saluzzo. Right outside your door lies a reserved, private space equipped with an outdoor dining table and chairs, ideal for enjoying a quiet breakfast or a glass of wine at sunset. While your dining area is exclusive, it features no fencing, opening up seamlessly into the estate's sprawling, manicured green lawns and the main garden shared with The Luxury Farm House. From this elevated vantage point, you will enjoy a stunning, near-360-degree panoramic view stretching across the plains to the majestic peak of Monviso and the Alps and amazing sunsets. The estate grounds are wrapped in our naturally tended family olive grove, honey bee territory, and blueberry orchard, filling the air with peaceful birdsong and the occasional sight of local deer. For a completely seamless stay, the property is equipped with silent underfloor heating for the colder months and offers ample free private parking space on-site.

Turin Airport (TRN): The most convenient airport, located just about 1 hour away (approx. 85 km) via the A55 and SP589 highways.
Cuneo Levaldigi Airport (CUF): A smaller regional airport, located just 25 minutes away (approx. 20 km) from the estate.
Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP): For long-haul international flights, Malpensa is about 2 hours and 15 minutes away (approx. 210 km).
📍 Distances & Getting Around Saluzzo Centre: The charming historic centre of Saluzzo, with its excellent cafés, restaurants, and local shops, is just a 5-minute drive down the hill.
The Langhe Region (Alba): The heart of the famous wine and truffle region is an easy and scenic 30-minute drive.
The Alpine Valleys: Mountain trails and ski slopes are reachable within 30 minutes.
Car Recommendation: Given our beautiful but secluded hilltop location, having a car is essential to fully enjoy your stay and explore the surroundings.
🚶 Accessibility & Important Notes
The Hilltop Access: The estate is located at the top of a scenic hill (poggio). The final stretch to reach the farmhouse is a standard countryside uphill lane.
Inside The Barn: Please note that the sleeping area and the freestanding bathtub are located on the mezzanine level. This area is accessed exclusively via a vintage cast-iron spiral staircase. For this reason, the property may not be suitable for individuals with reduced mobility or very small children. *
Parking: Once you arrive at the top, you will find ample, flat, and completely free private parking right on the property.

*Extra Guests & Sleeping Setup:
The Barn standard layout is ideal for 2 guests on the romantic mezzanine level. However, to comfortably accommodate up to 2 additional guests, an extra bed can be seamlessly set up on the ground floor level upon request, removing the armchair to maximize space. Depending on your preference and availability, this setup will include either a sofa bed or a high-quality, comfortable air bed with memory foam topper.

Tourist Tax: The local municipal tourist tax (€1 per person, per night) is not included in the Airbnb rate and must be paid in cash at check-out.

Bed Configuration & Extra Linens: If you require a customized bed setup or extra linens beyond the standard booking requirements, a €30 contribution is required to cover professional laundry costs.

Four-Legged Guests (Pets): We are happy to welcome your dogs, provided they are house-trained and comfortable sharing the outdoor areas. Please note that you must enquire at the time of booking and provide details regarding their breed, size, and age. A one-time €50 deep-cleaning fee applies to ensure the property is perfectly prepared for the next guests.
