About this house rental
You're perfectly positioned on Pensacola's southwest side for the best of the Gulf Coast. Perdido Key's famous beaches are a short drive away: miles of family-friendly beaches await at several public beach access points, including Johnson Beach within Gulf Islands National Seashore and Perdido Key State Park, where you can find accessible amenities and endless fun in the sun and water. White sand beaches and rolling dunes make Perdido Key State Park a favorite for swimmers and sunbathers, with boardwalks from the parking lot and covered picnic tables overlooking the beach, a great place for family outings.
For outdoor adventures, nearby Big Lagoon State Park offers fishing, camping, hiking, and access to the Florida Circumnavigational Saltwater Paddling Trail and the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail.
History and family fun are close by too: the Pensacola Naval Aviation Museum, the world's largest aviation museum and one of the most-visited museums in Florida, is about 7 miles away, and the Blue Angels flight demonstration team routinely practices most Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the show open to the public. You can also discover the area's history by climbing the 177 steps up the Pensacola Lighthouse and Museum.
For dining, the area is known for fresh seafood, The Crab Trap, The Jellyfish, and Salty Pearl Raw Bar are all popular spots to find fresh seafood. A local must-visit is Joe Patti's Seafood, a local institution since 1935 where locals shop for fresh seafood, with shrimp boats docking outside to deliver the daily catch.
You'll enter through the front entrance of the middle unit, marked with a 'B' out front, this is the only way in and out. Your entry details will be sent privately before arrival. Parking is street parking only (no permit required); park along the street or in the spots across the street. Garbage day is Thursday, with bins on the side of the property.
Blue Angels Flights & Noise Notice: We are located in an area where you can catch amazing views of the US Navy Blue Angels practicing in the sky! Please note that during their practice sessions and airshows, the jets fly directly overhead and can be very noisy. If you happen to be staying on a practice day, enjoy the free airshow!
