Refugi dels Somnis is a family-run project that has transformed this historic home into two charming vacation apartments, fully equipped so you don’t have to worry about a thing: just come, relax, unwind, and enjoy.
Each apartment has its own personality:
*Hogar de los Sueños*, our warm and cozy attic apartment, where wood, light, and original details create a particularly romantic and peaceful space.
*Antiguo Pincel*, an apartment brimming with history, art, and personality, inspired by Onda’s artistic and ceramic traditions and carefully decorated with restored elements and unique details. (Pet-friendly)
The renovation has preserved numerous original features of the home, such as wooden beams, hydraulic tile floors, wrought-iron balconies, and other details that are part of the house’s history.
But Refugi dels Somnis is much more than just a charming place to stay. We’ve created an *immersive experience* so our guests can discover the house’s history while staying here. Through QR codes, photographs, videos, little clues, riddles, and interesting facts, you’ll be able to discover characters, architectural details, original features, and little secrets hidden in different corners of the house.
Some are right in plain sight. Others you’ll have to search for.
Our location allows you to enjoy Onda on foot and discover the beauty of its imposing castle, its cultural heritage, and its historic center. You can stroll through its streets, head to the Plaza del Almudín for a meal or a drink, and soak up the atmosphere of a town with centuries of history.
And if you want to explore the surrounding area, you’ll be in the perfect starting point to explore wonderful places in the province of Castellón: Montanejos and its hot springs, the Pozo Negro, the Sierra de Espadán, the hiking trails in the area, the San José Caves, and the beaches of Castellón, about a 20-minute drive away.
Here, everything is designed so that you only have to worry about one thing: enjoying Onda, exploring its surroundings, and experiencing what it’s like to stay in a house steeped in history.
