About this cottage rental
Welcome to "la casa del teix", a rural accommodation with a harmonious environment for rest of the body and peace of mind. Our house invites you to disconnect from the worries of everyday life and to enjoy the calm, relaxation and beauty of its natural environment, in the heart of the Sierra de Espadán natural park. Breathe, filling you with the energy of nature. and experience the pleasure of rural life with its leisurely rhythm. If you like to walk, here you will discover paths and corners full of charm in the lush forests of cork oaks.
Eslida is known since ancient times for the benefits of its waters and its climate Enjoy!
It is a house of the s. XIX located in the old town, without traffic and of Muslim origin and only 100 meters from the forest .. In 2003 we reformed it following criteria of bioconstruction and feng shui, all with traditional and natural materials (stone, mud, wood, cork etc.) free of chemicals, but above all with much love.
Electricity is of renewable origin and there is waste selection.
The house has three floors. In the main one there is a hall, the fully equipped kitchen, a toilet, a
dining room that communicates with the terrace and overlooking the mountain. From the terrace down a staircase, to the interior garden where the yew that gives its name to the house and where there is also a barbecue and a fountain. On the upper floor there is a large and diaphanous room with two double beds and a full bathroom, with shower and whirlpool. On the lower floor there is a room with wooden and stone walls and two single beds that communicates with the garden.
The accommodation is very well located, in the mountains but near the beaches of the orange blossom coast.
Ideal for a romantic getaway.

WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS
It has a good Wi-Fi connection, 32-inch flat screen HD TV with all kinds of connection (HDMI)
It is equipped with all necessary kitchen utensils and basic products (salt, sugar, oil, tea, coffee, cloths, detergent). We also provide sheets, towels, firewood, and charcoal for the barbecue. It has a smoke detector and fire extinguisher, iron and board, hair dryer and iron.
The mattresses are viscoelastic and orthopedic.
There is a small library with nature guides, poetry, personal growth. There are also board games.
Attention to guests
We welcome guests in Spanish, Valencian, English or French.
We can offer you information about the area and everything that can be seen and done.
The neighborhood
The town has many services: swimming pool, tennis, shops, bank, pharmacy, restaurants. There is the interpretation center of the natural park. Several artisans offer products such as honey, natural cosmetics and virgin olive oil. Our house is in the narrow streets without traffic of the old town and one hundred meters from the cork oak forest. Ideal for rest.

Easy access by motorway Cv 10 to 10 km. Beaches 25 km. Near many tourist attractions

It is just a fantastic place, very comforteable and tastefully decorated! We arrived in the middle of the night and the owners welcomed us with selfmade oilive oil, bread, marmelade and wine. It was a nice start in a great week. We had a great time, everythink was perfekt.

We have just spent a very happy week in La Casa Del Teix in Eslida. The house is nestled in the heart of the old town and is very comfortable, beautifully decorated and has all the facilities that you could need whilst on your stay. The friendly owners Myriam and Dominique shared great information on many local places to visit and we especially enjoyed the mountain walks, lunches in the cafe San Ambrosio in the next village Ain, as well as visits to Montanejos springs, Xilxes beach and Peniscola old town. Already hoping to return again next year :) Julie & Tony

La esperiencia para nosotros ha sido muy satisfactoria.La casa estaba preparada con todo.Muy limpia y a mas agradecer a los propietarios el trato recibido.teniamos leña para la chimenea etc...Un detalle muy bonito fue encontrarnos con pan recien hecho y dulces tipicos de la zona....como regalo de bienvenida un tarro de mermelada casera y unos bombones a mas de un aceite casero buenísimo....Seguro que volveremos.. gracias por todo y nos vemos pronto.Os la recomendamos vale la pena una escapada asi.Un saludo.
