Welcome to The Carolina Escape! We want every guest to have a relaxing, five-star stay while helping us keep our home beautiful for future guests. By booking this property, you agree to the following house rules.
Check-In & Check-Out
* Check-in: 3:00 PM
* Check-out: 11:00 AM
Birthday Celebration? Text your host Lex to see the options you have for a free birthday cake from Walmart, Costco, and or a complementary bottle of wine/champagne or your favorite alcoholic beverage!
Occupancy
* Maximum occupancy is 14 registered guests.
* Only registered guests are permitted on the property unless approved by the host in advance.
Respect Our Home & Neighbors
* No parties, events, or large gatherings.
* Quiet hours are 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM.
* Please be respectful of our neighbors and follow all HOA community rules.
No Pets
* Pets are not permitted on the property.
* If a pet is brought onto the property, a $600 fee will be charged.
* Guests will be required to leave immediately without a refund.
No Smoking or Illegal Substances
* Smoking, vaping, marijuana, or any illegal substances are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property, including inside the home, front yard, backyard, driveway, patio, hot tub area, and all outdoor spaces.
* Violations will result in a $500 fee, and guests will be required to leave the property immediately without a refund.
Shoes
* Please remove your shoes upon entering the home.
* No shoes are permitted on the carpet to help keep it clean.
Bedrooms
* No food or drinks in the bedrooms.
* Please do not remove the bed linens from the beds. Our cleaning team will take care of all linens after your stay.
Bathrooms
* Please use the provided makeup towels/wipes when removing makeup.
* Do not use the white bath towels or washcloths to remove makeup.
* Do not flush wipes, paper towels, feminine products, or anything other than toilet paper.
Hot Tub
* Please turn off the hot tub when you’re finished using it.
* Close and secure the cover after each use to help keep the water clean and prevent bugs and debris from entering.
* No glass containers or food are permitted in or around the hot tub. Please use plastic or shatter-resistant drinkware only.
* Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
* Guests use the hot tub at their own risk.
Charcoal Grill
* The charcoal grill is self-service.
* Please clean the grill after each use as a courtesy to the next guests.
* Ensure all coals are completely extinguished and the grill has fully cooled before moving it back inside the garage/storage area.
* Never move or store the grill while it is still hot or contains burning coals.
Parking
* Parking is limited to 2 vehicles in the driveway.
* No street parking is permitted at any time.
* Guests are responsible for any HOA fines resulting from parking violations.
Additional Rules
* Do not move furniture.
* No glitter, confetti, or decorations requiring tape, nails, or adhesives.
* No commercial photography or filming without prior approval.
* Do not tamper with exterior security cameras or safety devices. (There are no cameras inside the home.)
* Report any damages or maintenance issues immediately so we can address them promptly.

Before checking out, please:
* Place used towels in the bathrooms.
* Start the dishwasher or wash any used dishes.
* Turn off all lights, TVs, and small appliances.
* Lock all doors and windows.
* Leave the home in the same clean and respectful condition in which you found it.
