Rest and relax at this attractive two-storey property, ideal for a couple or solo traveller seeking a peaceful rural retreat close to local amenities and the attractions of the Norfolk/Suffolk border. The property is located in Bardwell, a quiet, small village perfectly placed 10 miles from the market towns of Bury St Edmunds, with its medieval architecture, Abbey Gardens, and boutique shopping, and Thetford, for visiting the Dad’s Army Museum, Thetford Priory, and the Ancient House Museum. Keen walkers and cyclists should head to Brandon Country Park (14.5 miles) or Thetford Forest (10.5 miles) to enjoy miles of scenic trails. Wildlife enthusiasts can enjoy exploring Knettishall Heath Nature Reserve (5 miles), which features lowland heath, grassland and woodland. Alternatively, for a day of nostalgia, step back in time on the rides and get up close to the steam engines at Bressingham Steam Museum and Garden (11.5 miles).
