Nestled on 10 private acres, Cardinal Cabin overlooks a large, tranquil pond and sits about 200 feet from the nearest cabin—offering a peaceful balance of secluded privacy and natural connection. The rest of the acreage is a shared outdoor paradise, featuring private hiking trails, a rushing creek, a hammock grove, a horseshoe pit, a communal bonfire area, a tire swing, and endless mountain beauty to explore.
The Cabin
As the coziest home at Upper Ridge Retreat, Cardinal Cabin perfectly combines rustic mountain charm with all the comforts of home.
• Bedroom 1: Master bedroom with a queen bed
• Bedroom 2: Guest bedroom with two twin beds
• The Kids' Loft: A cozy, hideaway loft featuring two sleeping benches. (Please note: The loft is accessible by a ladder only, making it an absolute blast for older kids, but it may not be suitable for toddlers or guests with mobility concerns).
• Bathrooms: 2 full bathrooms
• Living & Kitchen: An inviting family room that overlooks the pond (complete with a TV and DVD player for movie nights) and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for cooking and baking.
When it's time to unwind, step out onto your private deck to cook on the gas grill, or watch the stars from your personal 5-person hot tub.

Super cozy cabin, perfect for a weekend getaway for my family of 4.

In order to reach this cabin you have to drive down a very steep gravel road for 15-20 mins. Keep in mind that this property is very remote. You also have to wash all of your towels, which is quite irritating when you are staying at a vacation rental. The cabin is charming, and the hot tub is a nice bonus feature as well.
