About this cabin rental
The space
This is the one of eight private cabins at the Lodge. The cabin sits the closest to our resident eagle's nest (hence its name), which is directly beside Bear Creek and right in front of Bear Creek Pond. The cabin has full view of the entire 8-acre property. Moose, eagles, and salmon are frequent visitors to the cabin, and there is always something new to see and experience.
With two double beds, the Cabin easily accommodates four guests. It includes a mini fridge and microwave. Just steps away is the Wash Hut with hot showers and indoor plumbing. Dirty Skillet is the lodge's private restaurant, which serves dinner throughout the summer season through the whole month of September. Be sure to dine with us in an authentic mining camp restaurant serving up hearty, heaping, home-cooked style foods.
Guest access
The entire 8 acres is open to our guests. Our property borders the borough land with hundreds more acres of amazing hiking and exploring, all ending at the mouth of the ocean, so it's impossible to lose your way.
Our guests will also have free access to Bear Creek Pond, our private body of water, with pedal boat and canoe access. We provide life jackets for all guests.
Be sure to bring your camera! This property is a photographer's dream with beautiful sites and quirky touches all throughout.
Other things to note
WiFi is available in the lodge’s restaurant and on its deck right next door.
This is a “dry cabin” with no indoor plumbing. The shared Wash Hut is nearby with toilets and hot showers. There are no laundry facilities.
