Architect-designed holiday home close to the beach

This vacation home, designed by architect Erling Jenning Jacobsen in 1969, is located near the beach in Løkken. The house features a truly unique architectural design, with the roof extending like a canopy over the large living room. The diagonal roofline gives the house a distinctive look both inside and out.



The living room is centered around a cozy wood-burning stove. Abundant natural light and a sense of spaciousness are defining features, and the two open triangular spaces between the floors create a unique connection across the rooms. The house has been completely renovated with respect for the original 1969 architecture.



The house is located in the dune landscape south of Løkken, and a short walk takes you down to the wide, white sandy beach on the North Sea. Here, there’s plenty of room for refreshing dips, long walks on the beach, and sunsets over the sea.



The town of Løkken is just a few minutes’ drive or bike ride away and offers cafés, restaurants, surf schools, and shopping. The town buzzes with life in the summer, and the pier is part of its charm.
