About this house rental

In Dovadola, in the hills of Romagna, this two-story country cottage is integrated into an authentic three-story medieval watchtower dating from the 1200s. Exposed beams, stone walls, and original fireplaces were preserved during the restoration, and the furnishings follow the Wabi-Sabi philosophy: natural materials and simplicity.

On the ground floor, the rustic kitchen with an original fireplace, the living room with a smart TV, and the dining area with a sofa bed open onto the private garden through five French doors. At the base of the tower is a reading nook carved out of the stone. The sleeping area is accessible via the original outdoor staircase.

The large private garden features two outdoor dining areas, one equipped with a pizza oven and a barbecue. Inside the tower, the bedroom on the second floor is a double room with a panoramic view of the valley; on the third floor, the single bed occupies the highest point of the structure, offering an even wider view.

Dovadola is located in the heart of the Romagna hills, in a tranquil hillside setting that you can feel the moment you arrive. The local spa is a seven-minute drive away.
