Welcome to Casa Holamundo, our lovingly restored stone house dating back to around 1900, tucked away in the peaceful mountain village of Curtina in the beautiful Val Colla.

This is not a standard holiday apartment. Casa Holamundo is a real home, filled with character, history and the little details that make a place feel special. We live here ourselves when we are not travelling, and we love sharing it with guests who appreciate authenticity, nature and a slower pace of life.

Your private mountain home

The entire house is yours, with three cosy bedrooms, making Casa Holamundo a wonderful retreat for couples, families and small groups.

The heart of the house is the comfortable living room with its fireplace, the perfect place to relax after a day in the mountains, enjoy a good book, play a game or settle in for a cosy evening when the weather turns chilly.

And although you are surrounded by nature, you don't have to give up the comforts of modern life. Fast, reliable internet makes it easy to stay connected, work remotely or simply stream your favourite film after a day of exploring.

A kitchen made for enjoying Ticino

The fully equipped kitchen is ready for everything from a quick breakfast before a hike to a long dinner with friends.

And because food is part of the Swiss experience, we have gone a little further than the usual holiday-rental kitchen. You'll even find a traditional fondue pot and a raclette oven waiting for you.

So pick up some local cheese, pour a glass of wine and make an evening of it. You are in Switzerland, after all.

Nature starts at the front door

Val Colla is one of Ticino's quieter corners, perfect for hiking, walking, exploring mountain villages and simply getting away from the crowds.

There is something wonderfully simple about staying here: fresh mountain air, the sound of water running through the valley, old stone houses, forest paths and spectacular views.
