You'll have plenty of local hotspots to visit during your stay, including Calaveras Big Trees State Park, where you can take lovely strolls among two groves of giant sequoias, the Stanislaus River, Beaver Creek, ancient volcanic formations, and sun-dappled trails. Or, treat everyone to a visit to the Sierra Nevada Logging Museum and appreciate the area's rich history.
Return home after a fun-filled day out and about and relish in the relaxing ambience from the moment you step through the front door. This cabin under the pines boasts loads of natural light, perfect for sitting down and cracking open a good book. There's also a small loft where you can snuggle up for a quick nap.
The house features a patio area with seating, both a well-equipped kitchen and an outdoor gas grill for mealtimes, and a comfy sectional in front of a large TV where you can stream your favorite movies and shows - the perfect combo after a day of outdoor activities. This space is the ideal vacation rental for a small family or group gathering.

This small cabin is finished beautifully and every detail well thought out. It's helpful that both beds were king size for us and our teenagers. (The tall one did hit the A frames occasionally.) Glad we could take our small dog. Vacasa continues to forget things and not rep their diligent owners who made it right. Thank you! Wished for another fry pan and a griddle. Loved the wood craftsmanship. The location is very central between Arnold and Bear Valley areas with all the lakes and big trees park. Would come here again.

The property was nice and spacious for our family (2 adults, 2 kids and dog). It’s very well equipped, kitchen has great amenities. Using the narrow driveway with our truck was tricky but we managed. The biggest complaint was the fact that the house was dirty when we arrived. It took me a bit to contact the property manager and get someone to come and clean the place. We couldn’t really use the house for several hours until the cleaning crew arrived and completed the cleaning and setup of the house.Another complaint I have - don’t ask your guests to strip the beds and start the laundry when the check out is at 10am.

The place itself was very clean and cozy. The location was perfect because we wanted to spend time at the state park. We are giving extra points to this place because it was super baby friendly! There were toys and a high chair (not something we had expected!) We also enjoyed the books and it simply was an amazing getaway with friends and family!
