About this house rental
Wiesentflair warmly welcomes you to the spa town of Muggendorf in Franconian Switzerland. This 110 m² holiday home accommodates up to 4 guests with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare your meals. Amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi (suitable for streaming), heating throughout the house, and a TV.
Relax on your private, uncovered terrace and enjoy panoramic views over the Wiesent Valley with its river, forests, and rock formations.
A garage (entrance width 2.25 m) is available for your car, plus another for bicycles and motorbikes, which also has a charging station for cars.
Washing machine and dryer are available in our neighboring house. Please note that events are not permitted on the property.
Your hosts live partly on site, right next door.
The location is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. Hiking trails and famous climbing rocks start right outside your door. Nearby, Binghöhle and Rosenmüllerhöhle invite you to explore. You can go kayaking on the Wiesent or ride the historic steam train.
Fly fishing for trout and grayling in Franconian Switzerland: My husband has exclusive access to a stretch of the Wiesent and shared access to a section of the Unterleinleiter near Gasseldorf. Further information about permits, accompaniment, and guiding is available after booking via the platform. We can also check the crayfish trap and use the catch.
Excursions: Bamberg, Bayreuth, and Nuremberg are all within easy reach for day trips.
