About this house rental

Contemporary interiors, bold artwork and eclectic decorative touches capture Erskineville's creative energy and laid-back spirit. Boutique cafés, local pubs, vintage stores and Newtown's dining and entertainment scene are all within easy walking distance. Thoughtfully equipped with a light-filled living area, well-equipped kitchen, leafy alfresco spaces, portable fans and heaters, private laundry, and on-site parking, it's a well-appointed base for discovering the best of Sydney's inner west.
The open-plan living area invites you to spend time together, whether settling in with a film, planning the day's adventures or enjoying the garden outlook through the expansive windows. Comfortable leather seating, a TV and sound system create an inviting place to unwind, while the spacious dining area brings everyone together over home-cooked dinners or takeaway from the suburb's much-loved eateries. The sleek kitchen is fully equipped for guests who love to cook, featuring a Nespresso machine, dishwasher, oven, stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster and all the cooking essentials.

Outside, a leafy garden with built-in timber bench seating offers a quiet spot to sip a coffee or lose yourself in a good book, while the covered patio, complete with comfortable lounge seating and a ceiling fan, is an ideal place to kick back with a cold drink or catch up with friends. The paved courtyard, set up with alfresco dining and a shady umbrella, is perfect for leisurely lunches in the sunshine.

The primary bedroom features a queen bed and built-in wardrobes, while the second bedroom offers a double bed. The contemporary bathroom features a walk-in shower, complimentary toiletries and a stone basin, bringing a refined finish to your daily routine.

Portable fans and heaters are provided in both bedrooms, while the living, dining and kitchen areas are equipped with ceiling fans and a gas heater. A private laundry with a washing machine, Wi-Fi and carport ensure a stress-free stay.

Please note: the upstairs level is reserved for the hosts and remains locked during your stay. The courtyard is a shared access area, as the external stairs provide access to the upstairs. On the rare occasion the hosts are present, they may pass through the courtyard to access the upstairs but will not use the courtyard during your stay or enter the guest accommodation.
During your stay, you and your group will have exclusive access to the ground-floor home. Please make yourselves at home!

You'll have full use of the courtyard. Please note that it also provides access to the hosts' private upstairs accommodation via the external stairs, so they may occasionally pass through.

Erskineville is a charming inner-west pocket of Sydney, full of heritage terraces and village charm just a short stroll from Newtown. Right around the corner, you'll find Erskineville Road, lined with cafes, boutiques and restaurants, plus the historic The Imperial, famous for its drag and cabaret shows. The Rose of Australia is another local favourite, known for its island bar and community feel, with outdoor seating and a cocktail bar upstairs.

For a classic pub experience, the Erskineville Hotel - known locally as "The Erko" - is a neighbourhood favourite with a spacious beer garden, perfect for a casual drink or meal. Erskineville Station is just a three-minute walk away, making it easy to explore the city, while nearby Erskineville Oval provides a leafy spot for a picnic or stroll. Around 12 minutes on foot, Newtown's iconic King Street comes alive with independent shops, acclaimed restaurants, lively bars and live music venues, capturing the creative spirit of Sydney's Inner West.
