APARTMENT DESCRIPTION
A newly renovated 100sqm apartment, where you can experience Naples easily on foot, surrounded by excellent bars, restaurants and pizzerias, with everything you need right at your doorstep.

You will stay in a noble palace dating back to 1704, adjacent to both the historic Chiaia bridge and the picturesque Chiaia Steps (“Gradoni di Chiaia”), in a well-kept and comfortable flat, ideal for a family or two couples, perfect for weekly stays or long weekends!

BEDROOM 1
The first bedroom features a charming French balcony overlooking lively Via Chiaia: from here, you’ll have a front-row seat to watch Neapolitan street life. In this bedroom there are one double bed measuring 160x200cm (63''x78'') and one single bed measuring 90x200cm (35''x78''). This is the only room where the old wooden shutters still remain; even after several centuries, they continue to serve their purpose admirably! You can experience the thrill of darkening the room just as people used to do in the past!

BEDROOM 2
The second bedroom, more intimate and cozy, is located near the entrance. The ancient wooden beams on the ceiling add warmth and character, creating a charming and authentic atmosphere. It includes one double bed measuring 160x190cm (63''x74'') and overlooks the internal courtyard.

BATHROOMS
You will find two full bathrooms with showers, both located outside the bedrooms.
The first bathroom has a lovely, spacious shower, whilst the second is nothing fancy, – it’s simply practical and useful when there are lots of you, especially when you come back home after a day out and everyone wants to use the bathroom at the same time :D

LIVING ROOM & KITCHEN
The first bedroom, separated by a door, opens onto the living room with kitchen — a welcoming space designed for spending time together. Enjoy a coffee before heading out to explore the city, or return in the evening to share stories, laughter and a pizza after a day discovering Naples and its surroundings.
There is a sofa that converts into a SINGLE bed measuring 110x190cm (or 43''x74''). However, as there are armrests on both sides, it is only recommended for people no taller than 175–180cm (5'9" / 5'11"), as the armrests prevent you from letting your feet hang over the edge!).
Furthermore, as it is a thoroughfare, it’s certainly not the right place to sleep if looking for privacy.

The bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning to ensure maximum comfort during the sleep. Instead, the living room and kitchen do not have air conditioning splits, but since they are adjacent to the first bedroom, simply leave both door panels open to allows the cool air to circulate in this area too. In winter, the entire apartment is fully heated, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere throughout.

This is not just a place to sleep, but a home designed to make you feel part of the city, living Naples not as a tourist, but as a true local!

KEEP IN MIND:

- PRESENCE OF STAIRS TO REACH THE ACCOMMODATION: This accommodation is not suitable for people with severe mobility issues or wheelchair users: there are around 7 steps that must be climbed to enter the flat.

- 2 BUILDING ENTRANCES: The building has 2 entrances, on 2 different streets: from the main entrance of the building on Via Chiaia (next to the Chiaia bridge and metro line 6 “Chiaia”) the apartment is on the 4th floor. But there is also a secondary entrance of the building on Via G. Nicotera (above the bridge), from which the apartment is on the half-floor.
You can use both entrances to the building during your stay, you will have keys to all the secret gates of this strange old building :D

- PEDESTRIAN STREET: Via Chiaia is a pedestrian street (ZTL: limited traffic zone) and taxis are not allowed to drive there. If you give the taxi driver the main address of the building on Via Chiaia, you will have to walk a short distance with your luggage (no less than 250 meters / 800ft). Alternatively, you can use the secondary entrance of the building on Via G. Nicotera and ask to be dropped off in front of the gate.

- LIFTS: There are two lifts available for your use to go up to the apartment:
1) Private lift: inside the courtyart of the building at ground floor of Via Chiaia, with a capacity of 3-4 people, excluding luggage, which operates only with a key, which I will give you. Recommended when returning at night, when the public lifts are closed.
2) Public lifts inside the bridge: active from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm (free and with a capacity for 12 people!), located inside the Chiaia Bridge. This will take you from Via Chiaia to Via G. Nicotera, and vice versa. If it’s out of service, there’s another lift inside the metro station, which will also take you up to the bridge.

- NOT RECOMMENDED FOR THOSE TRAVELLING BY CAR: Much of Naples’ historic centre is closed to traffic, lots of narrow streets and there the few car parks are often completely full. Furthermore, you will not be able to drop off luggage or passengers in front of the building; you will still have to walk some distance with your luggage.

HOUSE RULES:

- GUEST REGISTRATION: Italian law requires all guests (including newborns) to present a valid ID during the in-person check-in. The only valid documents accepted are a passport (if you are a non-EU citizen) or an identity card (only if you are an EU citizen). Unfortunately, if even one guest is unable to provide a valid ID, I won't be legally allowed to check in the entire group. Finally, one guest will be asked to sign a short-term rental agreement. A copy will be sent to you immediately after your reservation.

- NO EXTRA GUESTS: No more guests than those registered at check-in may stay overnight, nor may guests different from those registered at check-in.

- MINORS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 CANNOT MAKE RESERVATIONS or stay without their parents.

- CHECK-IN TIMES: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
As I personally welcome every guest and hand over the keys, I'd really appreciate it if you could share your estimated arrival time as soon as possible. This helps me plan your check-in and avoid leaving you waiting outside with your luggage. I'm happy to be as flexible as possible, but arrivals outside the standard check-in hours are subject to my availability and should be requested in advance.

- MAX 6 GUESTS + 1 NEWBORN: By law, the flat can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests (a number that also includes children). An exception can only be made for 1 newborn, so 6 guests with their own beds + 1 newborn who will sleep in the double bed with their parents (as I do not have a cot). Although the booking system allows you to add several newborns, by law I can only register a maximum of 7 people (regardless of age), so if you intend to bring 2–3 additional newborns, I’m afraid I cannot accommodate you. It doesn’t matter whether you bring your own cots or someone sleep on the floor – it’s a matter of law.

- DO NOT BE NOISY IN THE COMMON AREA OF THE BUILDING: This is a quiet residential building, so please do not linger (especially during the night) on the stairwells or in the communal areas of the building, as these are adjacent to neighbours’ flats. If you are a smoker, you may smoke outside, in the courtyard of Via Nicotera, but please do not leave cigarette butts on the ground and do not speak too loudly.

- LIVING ROOM SOFA: the living room sofa will be prepared as a single bed and equipped with bed sheets only if there are 6 guests in the reservation. Conversely, if you need it, let me know in advance. It is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to unfold the sofa bed yourself, because if you don't know how to open it, you might break it!

AIR CONDITIONING/RADIATORS: In winter, air conditioning will not be available as the radiators will be active. Conversely, the thermostat for radiator use will be blocked when the air conditioning service is active.

- TAKE CARE OF THE APARTMENT: Leave it as you found it when you arrived :)

I offer you hospitality in a space that I take care of with love, please take care of it.
