About this apartment rental
Beautiful View - City apartment with a balcony, great view, and secure parking. Four stories up—no “ Fahrstuhl. Ja, ” really.
But up there: 50 bright square meters, a balcony with a view over Schwerin, a super-comfortable box-spring bed, and a private parking spot behind the roll-up door.
The apartment is centrally located near the Schlosspark Center, the Old Town, the castle, restaurants, the train station, and everything else in Schwerin you’d want to reach on foot. Perfect for a weekend for two, a city trip, a concert, a change of scenery while working from home, or just a few days away.
Once you’re upstairs, it gets cozy: a large living/sleeping area, comfortable armchairs, a thick, plush rug for relaxing, a new
LG flat-screen TV with a bright, high-contrast picture, games for rainy evenings, and a small collection of Asterix comic books to ward off boredom. Not a sterile vacation rental—more like: set down your suitcase, take off your shoes, and settle in.
You’ll sleep in a comfortable box-spring bed. For hot days, there are sunscreen and blackout blinds, easy cross-ventilation, and a cool fan. The apartment stays comfortably livable even in summer and doesn’t turn into an attic sauna. Blankets are provided for cool evenings—perfect for snuggling up on the balcony or in an armchair.
The separate kitchen has everything you need for breakfast, coffee, pasta, or a relaxing evening. From there, you step right out onto the balcony: coffee in hand, a view over the city, Schwerin from above.
The bathroom is more than just functional, too: A shower with a rain showerhead and a standard showerhead, good water pressure—it’s actually fun in the morning.
And the car? It’s parked safely.
The parking spot is located in a locked backyard, accessible via a private driveway with a rolling gate. Especially in a central location, that’s quite a luxury.
The honest part
The apartment is on the 4th floor without an elevator. This isn’t ideal for very heavy suitcases, bad knees, or people with limited mobility. If you’re okay with climbing stairs as a little urban workout, you’ll be rewarded with peace, light, and a view once you reach the top.
There’s no typical street noise. Every now and then you’ll hear the streetcar—more of a city charm than a disturbance, but to be fair: it’s not complete rural silence.
