Welcome to The Peachy Farmhouse — the upper level of our 1956 East Cobb home, fully renovated in 2021. Original character, all-new everything, tucked on a quiet dead-end street just minutes from Marietta Square, shops, and restaurants.
Sleeps a crowd comfortably. A spacious king bedroom. A custom-built bunk room with twin bunks — each with its own TV — plus a twin trundle underneath. The living room couch converts to a queen (cushions rearrange, no pull-out mechanism), and even the bean bag unzips into a queen mattress. Two full bathrooms: one connected to the bunk room with a tub for bathing little ones, one with a walk-in shower. Towels provided.
Built for families. Pack & play, high chair, infant/toddler tub, bouncer, baby gates, kid-friendly dishware, toys, board games, and puzzles — plus a dedicated play area off the living room. We're parents too, so we packed the things you'd rather not haul in the car.
The details that make it feel like home. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and coffee maker. Apple TV with your streaming apps. Sound machines in the bedrooms. Nest thermostat. A front porch with rocking chairs and a cozy reading nook (with outlets) for morning coffee. The front yard and driveway are yours — sidewalk chalk included — and there's a bench at the cul-de-sac at the end of the street.
Easy arrival. Self check-in at the yellow front door, 4 PM. Checkout at 10 AM, and we're happy to stretch that when we can — just ask. Park in front of the garage. Tesla Gen 3 Wall Connector available for EV charging (must be pre-requested at booking).
A few honest notes so there are no surprises:
This is the private upper level of our home. The front porch, front yard, and driveway are all yours; the backyard is a private area not available to guests.
The home is on septic, so there's no garbage disposal — food scraps go in the trash.
Exterior security cameras only (driveway, doorbell, front porch). Nothing indoors, ever.
Top bunk is ladder-access, best for older kids and adults.
No smoking, candles, or open flames anywhere on the property. An outdoor griddle is available for anything strong-smelling.
We're a real family, not a hotel chain — and if something isn't right, we'd much rather hear from you and fix it than have you leave disappointed.
