Coastal Cottage Historic Craftsman in heart of Arts District

This cozy, coastal cottage will make you feel at home while you are traveling. Enjoy this piece of American history, a 1925 period property built for Mathers family who built a nearby bridge. Here, you'll enjoy the Florida sunshine through the huge oak trees. Walk steps to the friendly Eau Gallie Arts District and the Indian River. We're minutes from the warm, relaxing Melbourne beaches and from I-95. Our cottage is beachy, fresh and warm, cozy and safe (new roof and storm impact windows).

This recently renovated, three-bedroom 1925 cottage, is beach-themed and fully furnished. It contains many original features (fireplace, wooden floors). The front bedroom offers a queen bed; the central bedroom has a king bed; while the third bedroom offers a single bed. A queen-sized air mattress is provided with linen and can be used in the living room. We are a pet friendly property however we charge $50 pet fee (plus taxes and associated Vrbo fees) and need to be made aware prior to booking that you are bringing a pet.

Outdoor facilities include a private garden described by one of our guests as a ‘secret garden’. Seating for 4, gas BBQ and outdoor shower are provided in the garden. We also offer a patio space which is enclosed with an insect net and offers a farm table which seats six and has a fan. There is a porch in the front with rocking chairs and a coffee table.

The home has new roof and hurricane impact windows for your safety and convenience.

A washer/dryer and fully equipped kitchen are there for your convenience. You will find complimentary water bottles and coffee for your enjoyment.

The property has a Ring Doorbell with camera and an exterior security camera with flood lights on the east side of the house, which is pointed away from the patio. The two security cameras record video and audio for security reasons. There are no security cameras inside the home. The property has new metal roof and hurricane impact windows.

Base rate price includes up to 4 people and use of 2 main bedrooms. Third bedroom sleeps one and there is an extra charge of $35 for use of the third bedroom. Please make sure you notify property management the accurate guest count for your reservation.
