About this apartment rental
Hi! I’m Charlie, a musician and longtime Airbnb Superhost with over 8 years of hosting experience.
This is my newly renovated London space, designed slowly and intentionally to offer a unique, curated, and comfortable stay for guests looking for a calm and atmospheric home away from home. Please note you will have the entire flat to yourselves — this is not a private room.
The design is inspired by my experiences staying in Scandinavian spa hotels, with an emphasis on simplicity, warmth, and relaxation. The bedroom has been created in a minimalist style to encourage a peaceful sleeping environment, featuring carefully selected colours, soft linens, warm lighting, and calming textures. The all-stone tiled bathroom includes underfloor heating, creating a subtle spa-like feel throughout your stay.
The living area has a very different energy - more social, cosy, and playful. You’ll find a record player along with a bespoke collection of vinyl records, and a great speaker system, which you can also connect to with your phone via bluetooth. I’ve tried to include something for everyone, so feel free to pour yourself a drink, put on a record, and settle into the evening. And remember: turn off the big light — nobody needs that ;)
The sofa also converts into a sofa bed if needed. Please note that the shower is accessed through the main bedroom, so guests sleeping in the living room will need to pass through the bedroom to reach the bathroom.
The kitchen has also been newly remodelled and fully equipped for cooking and longer stays.
Downstairs, there is a private garden area which is perfect for summer drinks, relaxing outdoors, or having friends round. It also doubles as a practical storage space for bikes or larger items. Additional luggage storage is available on the lower floor as well.
The apartment is perfectly positioned to explore East London, with excellent transport links to the City, Shoreditch, Canary Wharf and Central London, just a 10 minute walk from the Central Line, District Line, and Hammersmith & City Line. The surrounding local areas are lush too, with a lovely large park just across the road.
One parking space is available for short stays. If you are planning to bring a car, please let us know in advance so we can make sure the space is free for you. The street is restricted from 8:15-9:15 am and 3-4pm as there is a school on the road so do avoid driving in/out during those hours to avoid a ticket
