Big Red Barn is rooted in family—a family-built, family-run gathering place designed to help you feel at right home. From your first glimpse of our signature gambrel roof to the cozy embrace of our comfortable linens, we want every part of your stay to feel welcoming and thoughtfully cared for.
We believe peace of mind begins with cleanliness. We take great pride in preparing a spotless, clutter-free space where you can settle in and relax. It’s a commitment our guests have echoed time and again.
The Space
On 1.3 acres with scenic views in the heart of Troy, a stones throw from Moscow, Pullman, and the surrounding towns. In 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, we offer flexible sleeping arrangements for up to 22 adult guests, perfect for family reunions, group getaways, and special occasions, and give the perfect combination of spaces to gather and privacy for everyone.
On the main floor, you’ll find two en-suite bedrooms (one king and one queen) along with a library/piano room, laundry room, and an open concept great room with kitchen, dining, and living rooms. The kitchen offers plenty of prep space as well as a coffee station and stocked waffle bar!
Up the first flight of stairs is a fun, large landing space. Foosball table, chess board, and beautiful views make this a great space for hanging out!
The second floor includes four bedrooms (one in each corner) and a large bonus family room with 6 twin beds. Three bedrooms with queen beds and one with two full-size beds. In its standard layout, this floor sleeps 16-18 guests.
Year-round comfort for large groups: Central A/C, heating, and ceiling fans in every bedroom and main living area keep everyone comfortable. Plus, two tankless water heaters provide continuous hot water, so large groups can enjoy back-to-back showers without running out.
Traveling with little ones? Leave the bulky baby gear at home! We offer:

- 2 mini cribs
- 2 toddler beds
- 3 high chairs
- kid-friendly dishes & utensils
We can arrange these options to accommodate your needs, just let us know!
Outside, the property offers two spacious parking areas, including a circular driveway with direct access to the front porch and a lower parking area, comfortably accommodating 10+ vehicles. A full RV hookup is also available for an extra fee upon request.
Guest Access
Guests have full, private access to the main home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and living spaces. Entry is provided via smart lock for convenient self check-in.
Interaction with Guests
Big Red Barn is designed to give your group plenty of space, comfort, and privacy. Our property managers live on-site in a separate, private apartment with its own exterior entrance, allowing us to be nearby and available to help if anything comes up during your stay. Just message through the app and we will dispatch help immediately!
