About this house rental

Registered as a property for rent in Greece under the number 00000428239 (AMA)

Holiday home built in the traditional style by artist's hand in the mountain village of Berdemiaros with fantastic views to the south of many Cycladic islands.
The house has about 100 square meters of living space, to come about 40 square meters of terraces. It offers 2 bedrooms with double beds, 2 bathrooms and another 2 (emergency) beds in an open saloni with open kitchen and fireplace. The house is ideal for 4 people.

In the slipstream there is a stone-built shady seating area and a separately accessible from the house room with washing machine.
Over two terraces, one of which is largely protected, opens up one of the most beautiful views of the northern Aegean.
The house has a private parking space above the village.

In the neighboring village of Triantaros about 400m away there are taverns and restaurants, including the restaurant Zoga.

The town of Tinos, 7 km away, has supermarkets and a daily market of local produce.
The child-friendly "house beach" near Porto is about 4 km away.

Arriving via Mykonos, from there 30 minutes by ferry, or from Athens (ferry from Rafina, depending on the type of ship 1.5 to 4 hours sea voyage)

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house in a peaceful hillside village with an extraordinary view down to Tinos town and across the Aegean to the neighbouring Cyclades islands. It's easily accessed via a 20-minute ferry from Mykonos with its international airport, and there are very good ferry connections to other islands. While it's only a 10-minute or so drive up to the house from Tinos town, you completely leave the hustle and bustle behind. The house is set in a quiet traditional village where most of the homes are now renovated holiday properties/second homes. You are not far from local life, however, with the neighbouring (and walkable) village of Triandaros boasting a couple of super tavernas and friendly locals. There are also many other traditional villages scattered around the nearby hillsides which you'll enjoy exploring, and you'll definitely need a car to get around (there is a designated parking spot for the house just up a few steps from the property). Tinos has many lovely beaches and plenty of culture. We saw few non-Greek tourists and the roads were quiet and we were always able to get tables at tavernas. As for the house itself, you first enter to a spacious courtyard with the amazing view. There are deck chairs and a secluded corner with beautiful slate topped table for al fresco dining. A small store room housed a modern washing machine. Inside, there is a comfy sitting room which extends to a dining area and very well appointed kitchen with an efficient easy to use electric oven plus a dishwasher. There are plenty of cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. Food shopping and services are mainly in nearby Tinos town. There's a downstairs toilet and shower room, then upstairs, the main bathroom plus two good sized bedrooms, both with doors opening to the upper terrace, which is a more intimate space than the lower terrace and we enjoyed star gazing there once the kids had gone to bed. The whole place has been lovingly restored and is tastefully finished while retaining its traditional character. All in all it was a great place for a stress free family holiday.
