About this resort
Princeville Resort area on Kauaʻi’s lush north shore — upscale residential and resort development with tropical landscaping, cliff and ocean views, golf courses (Princeville/Kauai Lagoons), and easy access to scenic beaches such as Hideaway Beach and Hanalei Bay. The Princeville Center (Foodland supermarket, restaurants, shops) is the local commercial hub a short drive away. The vibe is relaxed, outdoorsy, and resort‑oriented with short drives to hiking, snorkeling, and boat tour departures for the Nā Pali Coast.
Most guests use a rental car — the north shore is spread out and many beaches, lookouts, and grocery/shopping are easier to reach by car. Street parking is generally available near resorts and public beaches but can be limited at peak times. Kauai Bus provides limited service to Princeville/Haʻena from central hubs (check current schedules); taxi, rideshare (availability varies), and private airport/point‑to‑point shuttles are common alternatives. Biking and walking are fine for short local trips within Princeville, but not practical for island‑wide travel.
A few things to note.... The resorts require a credit card and a valid ID at check-in. Please note the room view is not guaranteed here unless agreed upon before booking.
